Claims (3)
- 表面が放射性物質で汚染されたステンレス鋼材を、電解槽に収容された電解液としての硫酸ナトリウム水溶液中に浸漬し、該ステンレス鋼材を陽極とすると共に、該陽極と該電解液に浸漬された陰極との間に電流を供給して、該ステンレス鋼材の表面を電解して除染する電解除染方法において、
該電解槽に収容された電解液にチオ硫酸ナトリウムを添加すると共に、
該電解槽内に沈殿した金属水酸化物を該電解液と共に取り出し、該金属水酸化物を濾別した後、該電解液を該電解槽に供給することを特徴とする電解除染方法。 - 請求項1記載の電解除染方法において、前記電解液に全量の0.20〜0.60質量%の範囲のチオ硫酸ナトリウムを添加することを特徴とする電解除染方法。
- 電解液としてのチオ硫酸ナトリウムを含む硫酸ナトリウム水溶液を収容する電解槽と、
該電解液に浸漬された陰極と、
表面が放射性物質で汚染されており該電解液に浸漬されたステンレス鋼材を陽極とし、該陽極と該陰極との間に電流を供給する電流供給手段と、
該電解槽の底部から該電解液を取り出し再び該電解槽に供給する電解液再供給手段と、
該電解液再供給手段の途中に設けられ該電解液と共に該電解槽から取出される金属水酸化物を濾別する濾過手段とを備えることを特徴とする電解除染装置。
