Description
パッドはカーペットと組み合わせて使用されるように本質的に設けられる。カーペットは、本質的に、当該技術で知られるように少なくとも部分的に光透過性に設けられる(例えばUS4754372を参照)。ここで用語「少なくとも部分的に透過性」とは、少なくともひとつ又はそれ以上の前記カーペットの部分が、透過性であることを示す。即ち、特に前記カーペットのひとつの側(例えば前記カーペットの底面(以下参照))からの光が前記カーペットを通過し、前記カーペットの対抗する側(例えば前記カーペットの上面(以下参照)に対し)に到達可能であることを示す。
本発明によるパッドの利点は、照明装置が前記チューブ内に挿入されることができるということであり、これにより前記透過性部分が照明装置の光を(使用の際に)前記チューブから出ることが可能となり、従ってパッドから出ることが可能となる。好ましくは、かかる照明装置は前記チューブ内に摺動可能に設けられる。これにより、特にパッド又はカーペット−パッド組み合わせの利点が得られる。ここで、パッド、カーペット又はカーペット−パッド組み合わせに一般的大きな損傷を与えることなく、一般的にカーペットをパッドから取り除く必要がなくかつパッド全体をその接地場所から動かす必要がなく比較的容易に前記照明装置を除去及び交換することができる。
前記カーペットに組み込まれるチューブは、ひとつの単独の部品からなっていてもよく、複数の部品を含んでいてもよい。かかるチューブは、実質的に円形断面又は実質的正方形又は実質的に長方形断面を有していてよい。前記チューブの長さに沿って断面形状は変わってもよい(以下参照)。
・実質的に光に対し透過性であるプライマリバッキング層、
・前記プライマリバッキング層の第一の表面上のタフトを形成するヤーン及び、
・前記第一の表面と対抗する前記プライマリバッキング層の第二の側に設けられる接着層を含み、
かつ前記接着層は、前記照明装置の前記光源からの光が前記プライマリバッキング層に到達するように設けられている。
・前記プライマリバッキング層、前記接着層及び前記セカンダリバッキング層は実質的に同じ表面積であり、
・前記接着層が光透過性であり、
・前記光源が、前記光源からの光が前記接着層に到達するように設けられる。
Claims (13)
- カーペットと組み合わせて使用されるパッドであり、
前記カーペットは、カーペット底面、カーペット上面、及び前記カーペット底面から前記カーペット上面の方向に光透過性である部分、を有し、
前記パッドは、前記カーペット底面に向けられるように配置される第一のパッド表面と前記パッド内に少なくとも部分的に埋め込まれるチューブを含み、
前記チューブは、透過性区分を持ち、前記透過性区分の少なくとも一部が、実質的に前記第一のパッド表面に合致し、
前記透過性区分が可視スペクトルから選択される既定の波長を持つ光に対し透過性である、パッド。 - 請求項1に記載のパッドであり、さらに照明装置を前記チューブ内に摺動可能に設けられる、パッド。
- 請求項2に記載のパッドであり、前記照明装置が光源としてLEDを含む、パッド。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のパッドであり、前記チューブがさらに、出口部を含み、前記パッドからパッド端で少なくとも一部が飛び出ている、パッド。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のパッドであり、前記チューブがさらに、非−透過性区分を含み、好ましくは、前記非−透過性区分の少なくとも一部分が前記可視スペクトルから選択された既定の波長を持つ光に対し反射性である、パッド。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載のパッドであり、前記チューブが、場合により実質的に四角形又は長方形断面を持つ第一のチューブ部と、場合により実質的に(準)円形断面を持つ第二のチューブ部を含む、パッド。
- 請求項6に記載のパッドであり、前記第一のチューブ部が前記透過性区分を含む、パッド。
- 請求項6又は7のいずれか1項に記載のパッドであり、前記第一のチューブ部が、前記可視スペクトルから選択された既定の波長を持つ光に対し透過性である、パッド。
- 請求項6乃至8のいずれか1項に記載のパッドであり、前記第一のチューブ部が、PMMA又はガラスを含む群から選択される1又はそれ以上の材料を含む、パッド。
- 請求項6乃至9のいずれか1項に記載のパッドであり、前記第二のチューブ部が非−透過性区分を含む、パッド。
- 請求項6乃至10のいずれか1項に記載のパッドであり、前記第二のチューブ部がPVCを含む、パッド。
- 請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項に記載のパッドであり、前記チューブが複数の透過性区分を含む、パッド。
- カーペット−パッド組合せであり、請求項1乃至12のいずれか1項に記載のパッド、前記チューブに摺動可能に配置される照明装置及び前記照明装置を制御するための制御装置を含む、カーペット−パッド組合せ。
