Description
本願は、米国特許法第119条(e)項に基づき、2008年10月22日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61,107,571号の優先権を主張する、特許協力条約に基づく特許出願である。
Claims (5)
- ケースとカバーによって形成され、前記ケースがトランスミッションの出力に動作的に連結されているハウジングと、
前記ケースの中の入力ローラ軸受によって回転自在に支持される入力軸と、
前記カバーの中の後方出力ローラ軸受によって回転自在に支持される主要出力軸と、
前記ハウジングの下側部分において、前方出力ローラ軸受によって回転自在に支持される二次的出力軸であって、バルジジョイントに動作的に連結され、トルクを伝達するベル形のフランジを有するような二次的出力軸と、
前記主要出力軸にスプライン結合され、下側の被駆動スプロケットに動作的に連結される駆動スプロケットであって、前記下側の被駆動スプロケットは後方ローラ軸受によって回転自在に支持されて、前記二次的出力軸に選択的にトルクを伝達するような駆動スプロケットと、
第一の軌道輪と、第二の軌道輪と、前記第一の軌道輪と第二の軌道輪の間に延びる複数のラチェット要素からなり、前記複数のラチェット要素は前記第一の軌道輪と第二の軌道輪の周囲に複数の列で配置されているクラッチアセンブリと、
を備え、
前記第一の軌道輪は複数の取付用陥凹部を有するように機械加工され、当該取付用陥凹部の中に各ラチェット要素が旋回自在に取り付けられ、
前記第二の軌道輪には複数の切り込みが設けられ、当該切り込みに前記ラチェット要素が係合し、また係合状態から外れ、
前記ラチェット要素はそれぞれ旋回軸を含み、当該旋回軸からロッキングアームが延び、
各ラチェット要素は、取付用陥凹部から切り込み内へと前記ロッキングアームを通常は付勢するようになされたばねを含み、
前記クラッチアセンブリは、第三の軌道輪をさらに備えるとともに、前記第二の軌道輪と前記第三の軌道輪との間に延びる追加の複数のラチェット要素を含む、
自動車用トランスファケース。 - 前記クラッチアセンブリの前記ラチェット要素のいくつかは時計回り方向に延び、前記ラチェット要素のいくつかは反時計回り方向に延びる、請求項1に記載の自動車用トランスファケース。
- 前記クラッチアセンブリによって双方向の使用が可能となる、請求項1に記載の自動車用トランスファケース。
- 前記クラッチアセンブリは、前記ラチェット要素の列のいくつかを同じ方向に取り付けることによってバックラッシュが縮小される、請求項1に記載の自動車用トランスファケース。
- 前記クラッチアセンブリは、前記ラチェット要素の列のいくつかを同じ方向に取り付けたときに、バックラッシュ率が0.5に縮小される、請求項1に記載の自動車用トランスファケース。
