Claims (4)
- インバータの出力により走行用のモータを駆動する電気自動車であり、
ジェネレータとしてのモータが発生する交流を直流に変換する電源回路と、
バッテリ又は前記電源回路から電力の供給を受けて前記インバータのスイッチング素子を制御するコントローラと、を備えており、
前記電源回路は、
一次コイルがモータに接続されるトランスと、
トランスの二次コイルの出力を所定の直流電圧に調整する電圧レギュレータを備えており、
前記コントローラは、前記バッテリからの電力供給を受けられず、前記インバータが少なくとも1つのスイッチング素子の短絡故障を起こしており、当該電気自動車のシフトセレクタにおいてニュートラルレンジが選択されており、かつ、前記モータが回転している場合に前記電源回路から電力の供給を受けて動作する、
ことを特徴とする電気自動車。 - 前記一次コイルは、前記インバータの出力と前記モータの間に直列に接続されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気自動車。
- 前記コントローラは、前記モータが発生する電流が前記インバータ内の所定の箇所に過度に流れないように前記インバータの前記スイッチング素子を制御することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電気自動車。
- 前記インバータは、複数の上アームと下アームを備えており、
前記コントローラは、前記上アームのスイッチング素子が短絡故障した場合は他の前記上アームの前記スイッチング素子をONにし、前記下アームのスイッチング素子が短絡故障した場合は他の前記下アームのスイッチング素子をONにすることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電気自動車。
