Claims (17)
- 管を支える開放端型のソケットが形成された連結体と、
前記ソケットの開放端に配置され、リングと複数の可撓性アームを有し、該アームはリングの略軸方向でソケット内に延びているコレットであって、前記ソケット周囲の前記連結体の壁部には、前記開放端に向けて集束する傾斜カム面を有し、コレットアームは遠位端に、前記コレットを通過して前記ソケット内に延びる管と前記傾斜カム面との両方に嵌合するヘッドを有し、前記ソケットに対する前記コレットの外向きの移動によって、前記ヘッドが前記傾斜カム面により前記管に押圧されることで、前記管が前記ソケット内に固定される、コレットと、
前記連結体に回転可能に取り付けられたコレットロックであって、前記外向きにおける前記管の固定位置に前記コレットを保持する第1の回転位置と、前記コレットが前記ソケットに対して軸方向に移動して、前記コレットによる管の開放及び嵌合が可能な第2の回転位置を有する、コレットロックと、を備え、
前記コレットロックは前記連結体を取り囲むスリーブを有し、
前記連結体は、前記ソケット内に挿入された管の位置を視認可能にする1つ又は複数の開口を有し、
前記スリーブは、前記コレットの固定位置における前記1つ又は複数の開口を覆い、前記コレットの開放位置における前記1つ又は複数の開口を露出させる形状を有する、ことを特徴とする管継手。 - 前記コレットロックは、該ロックの回転により前記ソケットの外向きに前記コレットを駆動して、前記コレットを外向きの管の固定位置に保持する手段を有する、請求項1に記載の管継手。
- 前記コレットロックと連結体はともに、該コレットロックの回転により該コレットロックを前記連結体の軸方向で外向きに変位させ、前記連結体の外向きに前記コレットを駆動させる相互嵌合用ガイド手段を有する、請求項2に記載の管継手。
- 前記コレットロックと前記連結体間で作用する前記相互嵌合用ガイド手段は、前記コレットロックと前記連結体間で作用するカム手段を有する、請求項3に記載の管継手。
- 前記カム手段は、前記コレットロックと前記連結体上にそれぞれカムとカムフォロア、又はその逆にカムフォロアとカムをそれぞれ有する、請求項4に記載の管継手。
- 前記スリーブは前記コレットのリングに連結され、該スリーブが前記連結体の外部方向に軸移動することで、前記コレットを前記連結体の外部方向に引き出す、請求項5に記載の管継手。
- 前記コレットリングは前記連結体の開放端から突出し、前記スリーブの一端は、前記連結体の開放端を超えて突出して前記リングと嵌合する内側回転フランジを更に有し、前記スリーブが軸方向で外向きに移動することにより、前記ソケットの軸方向外向きに前記コレットを駆動する、請求項6に記載の管継手。
- 前記コレットリングは外側回転ヘッドを有し、前記スリーブの前記フランジは前記ヘッドの背後に嵌合する、請求項7に記載の管継手。
- 前記カム手段は、前記連結体の周りに形成されたカム面を備え、単数または複数のカムが、前記カム手段の前記カム面と嵌合する前記スリーブ内に形成されている、請求項4〜8のいずれか一項に記載の管継手。
- 前記カム手段の前記カム面は前記スリーブ内の前記連結体の外側に形成され、前記単数または複数のカムは前記連結体を囲むスリーブの壁部に形成されている、請求項9に記載の管継手。
- 前記カム手段は、前記連結体内の前記ソケット上に形成されたカム面を備え、前記単数または複数のカムは前記スリーブの一端で前記内側回転フランジに形成され、前記ソケット内に突出している、請求項7又は8に記載の管継手。
- 前記カム手段の前記カム面は、前記コレットのロック位置と開放位置間の前記スリーブの回転角が90°となるように形成された、請求項9〜11のいずれか一項に記載の管継手。
- 前記カム手段の前記カム面は、前記スリーブが前記コレットのロック位置からいずれの向きに回転することに対しても抵抗する、請求項9〜12のいずれか一項に記載の管継手。
- 前記カム手段の前記カム面には、前記カムを前記コレットロック位置に支承する浅い凹部が形成され、前記スリーブが前記コレットのロック位置からいずれの向きに回転することに対しても抵抗となる、請求項13に記載の管継手。
- 前記連結体に関して前記コレットロックの回転が制限される、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の管継手。
- 前記コレットロックの回転は前記連結体に関して90°以下又は180°以下に制限される、請求項15に記載の管継手。
- 前記連結体に関して前記コレットロックの回転を制限する手段は、前記コレットロック及び連結体に設けられた相互嵌合素子を含む構成である、請求項15又は16に記載の管継手。
