Description
親水性フュームドシリカAerosil(登録商標)200および親水性フュームドシリカAerosil(登録商標)300を、ボールミルを使用して構造改質する。この場合、表2に示されるように、水を添加し、且つ再粉砕を実施する。
原理:
分散の程度が、Aerosilで増粘された液体の性能特性を決定する。グラインドメーター値の測定は、分散の程度を評価するために役立つ。グラインドメーター値とは、それ未満では、塗布されている試料表面上で、存在する小片または凝集物が可視になる境界の層厚を意味する。
深さ範囲100〜0マイクロメートルを有するHegmannのグラインドメーター。
試験指示書0380に従って調製された、2%のAerosilを有するポリエステル樹脂分散液。
器具および試薬:
Dispermat AE02−C1、VMA−Getzmann (分散ディスク、直径5cm)
プラスチックビーカー 350ml、外径 8.4cm
固定用プラスチック蓋
モノスチレン溶液(100g モノスチレン+0.4g パラフィン)
Palatal(登録商標) P6−01、DSM複合樹脂
遠心分離器、Jouan社
熱調整キャビネット。
142.5gのPalatal(登録商標)をプラスチックビーカー内に計量供給し、且つ、7.5gのAerosilを計量供給する; 引き続き、該AerosilをPalatal内へと、Dispermatを使用して約1000分-1で注意深く攪拌して入れ(ビーカーの壁に付着しているAerosilのいかなる残留物も、スイッチを切ったDispermatを用いてビーカー内にかき入れる)、そしてその後、5分間、3000分-1で分散させる(ビーカーの底からの分散ディスクの距離は約1mmである); 該ビーカーをこの手順の間、ドリルホールを含む蓋を用いて覆う。
ここに記載される作業指示書を使用して、親水性AEROSIL(登録商標)銘柄と不飽和ポリエステル樹脂との混合物を調製し、シリカの粒度および増粘能力を特徴付ける。
98%のPalatal A 410 (BUEFA製)
2%のシリカ。
樹脂(例えばポリエステル樹脂、UP樹脂、ビニルエステル樹脂)は一般に、性能特性の改善の目的で充填剤を含有する。使用分野に依存して、使用される充填剤の性質および濃度が樹脂の流動挙動に影響する。Brookfield DV III流動計を使用する。スパチュラを使用して、該混合物をその貯蔵容器内で1分間均質化する。この均質化の最中、泡が形成されるべきではない。引き続き、該混合物を180mlのビーカー内に、そのビーカーがほぼいっぱいになるまで導入する。遅れることなく、流動計の測定ヘッドを該混合物中に完全に浸し、そして測定を以下の通りに実施する:
5rpm 60秒後に値を読み取る
50rpm 30秒後に値を読み取る。
試験器具
Hegmann式のグラインドメーターのブロックを使用する。
グラインドメーターのブロックを水平で滑らない表面に置き、そして試験の直前に拭いて清浄にする。その後、泡のない試料を溝の最も深い点で、溝の端を幾分超えてそれが流れ出るように導入する。その後、スクレーパーを両手で持って、グラインドメーターのブロックに対して垂直、且つその縦の端に対して直角で、緩やかな圧力で溝の下端上に置く。その後、ブロック上でスクレーパーをゆっくりと均質に引くことによって、試料を溝内に塗布する。試料をこすりつけた後、3秒以内に粒度を読み取る。
測定値から、算術平均を出す。マイクロメートルでのグラインドメーター値と、インチ系に基づくFSPT単位およびHegmann単位との間の関係は、以下の通りである:
B=8−0.079A
C=10−0.098 A=1.25B
この関係において:
A=マイクロメートルでのグラインドメーター値
B=Hegmann単位でのグラインドメーター値
C=FSPT単位でのグラインドメーター値。
Claims (1)
- 0.5質量%〜30質量%の親水性で、ボールミルを用いた粉砕によって構造改質され、その後、エアジェットミル、歯付ディスクミルまたはピン付きディスクミルで再粉砕され、60μm以下のグラインドメーター値を有するフュームドシリカを含有することを特徴とする被覆材料。
