Description
Claims (12)
- 複数の画素(302、304、306、308)を有する有機ELデバイスであって、
基板上に形成された陽極(204)と、前記複数の画素を形成するためのウェル画定層の各ウェル内の前記陽極上に形成された有機EL層(208)と、前記有機EL層の上の陰極層(210)と、前記ウェル画定層の上面上の金属層(210)とを備え、
前記陰極層および前記金属層を覆って導電層(212)が堆積されて、前記有機EL層の上の前記陰極層が前記ウェル画定層の上面上の前記金属層と電気的に接続され、
前記複数の画素が並列配置の形で配列され、前記画素のうちのいずれか1つの短絡が起きた場合に前記導電層(212)が電流制限を行うように、前記導電層(212)の抵抗と前記有機EL層の抵抗の比が、動作状態において1:10から1:100の範囲内にある、有機ELデバイス。 - 前記ウェル画定層の上面上の前記金属層が、前記陰極層と同じ金属層である、請求項1に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記陰極層が、前記ウェル画定層の上面上の前記金属層の上と、前記有機EL層の上との両方に形成されるように堆積される、請求項1に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記導電層が金属酸化物を含む、請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記金属酸化物が、酸化亜鉛、酸化モリブデンおよび酸化タングステンから選択される、請求項4に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記導電層が導電ポリマーを含む、請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記有機EL層が、インクジェット印刷、スロットコーティング、毛細管印刷、グラビア印刷、またはスクリーン印刷によって堆積される層である、請求項1〜請求項6のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記ウェル画定層が、適切なフォトマスクを使用してパターニングされたフォトレジストにより形成される、請求項1〜請求項7のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記ウェル画定層が、ウェットエッチングまたはドライエッチング処理によって前記ウェル画定層を固めるようにパターニングされたエッチング可能材料から形成される、請求項1〜請求項8のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記ウェル画定層の壁が張り出し断面を含む、請求項1〜請求項9のいずれかに記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 請求項1〜請求項10のいずれか一項に記載の有機ELデバイスのアレイを備える照明パネル。
- 有機ELデバイスが、陽極から陰極層までを測って100nm〜200nmの厚さを備える、請求項11に記載の照明パネル。
