Description
本出願は、「改善された白色度指数を有するポリマー組成物、それを生成する方法、およびそれから作製された物品(POLYMERIC COMPOSITIONS HAVING AN IMPROVED WHITNESS INDEX, PROCESS OF PRODUCING THE SAME, AND ARTICLES MADE THEREFROM)」という名称である2007年7月31日出願の米国特許仮出願第60/952,961号の優先権を主張する非仮出願であり、その教示は、下記に完全に再現されているかのように、参考により本明細書に組み込まれる。
試験方法には下記が含まれる。
Claims (5)
- ポリマー組成物であって、
ポリオレフィン、ここで前記ポリオレフィンは、溶媒の存在下における溶液重合反応による少なくとも1種以上のα−オレフィンの重合反応生成物である;
フェノール系酸化防止剤、ここで前記フェノール系酸化防止剤は、オクタデシル3−(3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオナートおよび3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシヒドロシンナマートからなる群から選択される;および
任意選択的なホスファイト系酸化防止剤、ここで前記ホスファイト系酸化防止剤はトリス(2,4−ジ−tert−ブチルフェニル)ホスファイトである;
を含み、
前記ポリマー組成物は、100万部の前記組成物当たり0.02部未満のステアリン酸銅を含有し、そして前記ポリマー組成物は、ASTM−D6290に従った白色度指数が[(−0.73X)+(Wi)]以上であり、式中、Xは加速エージングの日数であり、
Wiは加速エージング0日における初期の白色度指数であるポリマー組成物(但し、酸化亜鉛を含むポリマー組成物を除く)。 - 前記重合反応がステアリン酸銅を含まない重合系で行われる、請求項1に記載のポリマー組成物。
- ポリマー組成物を生成する方法であって、
ステアリン酸銅を含まない重合系を選択するステップと、
前記ステアリン酸銅を含まない重合系において、溶媒の存在下に溶液重合反応で少なくとも1種以上のα−オレフィンを重合するステップと、
それによって、ポリオレフィンポリマーを生成するステップと、
フェノール系酸化防止剤を前記ポリオレフィンポリマー中に溶融混合するステップであって、前記フェノール系酸化防止剤は、オクタデシル3−(3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオナートおよび3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシヒドロシンナマートからなる群から選択されるステップと、
それによって、前記ポリマー組成物を生成するステップと(但し、酸化亜鉛を含むポリマー組成物を除く)
を含み、前記ポリマー組成物は100万部の前記組成物当たり0.02部未満のステアリン酸銅を含有し、前記ポリマー組成物は、ASTM−D6290に従った白色度指数が

Wiは加速エージング0日における初期の白色度指数である、方法。 - ポリマー組成物の白色度指数を改善する方法であって、
ステアリン酸銅を含まない重合系を選択するステップと、
前記ステアリン酸銅を含まない重合系において、溶媒の存在下に溶液重合反応で少なくとも1種以上のα−オレフィンを重合するステップと、
それによって、ポリオレフィンポリマーを生成するステップと、
フェノール系酸化防止剤を前記ポリオレフィンポリマー中に溶融混合するステップであって、前記フェノール系酸化防止剤は、オクタデシル3−(3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオナートおよび3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシヒドロシンナマートからなる群から選択されるステップと、
それによって、前記ポリマー組成物を生成するステップと(但し、酸化亜鉛を含むポリマー組成物を除く)
