Description
透明な基材フィルム、この基材フィルムに積層されたスティッキング防止層及び基材フィルムのスティッキング防止層と反対側の面に積層された光学層を備えた光学シートの製造方法であって、
Tダイを用いた押出成形法により熱可塑性樹脂からなる基材フィルム押出体を形成する基材フィルム形成工程と、
上記基材フィルム押出体の一方の面に、上記光学シートのスティッキング防止層を構成するためのスティッキング防止層用組成物を塗工により積層する積層工程と、
上記基材フィルム押出体及びスティッキング防止層用組成物層の積層体を延伸する延伸工程と、
上記延伸工程の後に基材フィルム押出体の他方の面に光学層を形成する工程と
を有しており、
上記スティッキング防止層用組成物が、無機フィラー及び合成樹脂バインダーを含み、上記無機フィラーとして平均粒子径が10nm以上150nm以下のコロイダルシリカを含み、かつ上記無機フィラーの配合量(スティッキング防止層用組成物中の固形分換算の配合量)が20質量%以上50質量%以下であることを特徴とする光学シートの製造方法である。
ポリエチレンテレフタレート(以下「PET」と称する)をTダイに供給し、押出成形してPETフィルム押出体を形成し、そのPETフィルム押出体をフィルム長手方向に3倍延伸した。次に、固形分換算でポリエステルポリオール(東洋紡績社製の「バイロナール MD1250」)100部、ブロックイソシアネート(第一工業製薬社製の「エラストロンH−3」)120部、及び平均粒子径が100nmのコロイダルシリカ50部を含むスティッキング防止層用組成物を調製し、ロールコート法により、このスティッキング防止層用組成物の層と上記PETフィルム押出体との積層体を形成した。次いで、この積層体をフィルム幅方向に3倍延伸することによって平均厚み188μmの光学シート用基材シート(スティッキング防止層の平均厚み100nm)を得た。これらの工程は全て同一の生産ライン上で連続して行った。JIS−K7105に準じ、スガ試験機株式会社製のヘイズメーターにより当該光学シート用基材シートの全光線透過率を測定したところ、93.1%と良好であった。JIS B0601−1994に準じ、カットオフλc2.5mm、評価長さ12.5mmとし、株式会社東京精密製の触針式表面粗さ測定機「サーフコム470A」を用いて、当該光学シート用基材シートのスティッキング防止層面の算術平均粗さ(Ra)、最大高さ(Ry)及び十点平均粗さ(Rz)を測定したところ、それぞれ0.09μm、、0.63μm及び0.52μmであった。また、当該光学シート用基材シートのスティッキング防止層の鉛筆硬度はH〜2Hであった。

Claims (5)
- 透明な基材フィルム、この基材フィルムに積層されたスティッキング防止層及び基材フィルムのスティッキング防止層と反対側の面に積層された光学層を備えた光学シートの製造方法であって、
Tダイを用いた押出成形法により熱可塑性樹脂からなる基材フィルム押出体を形成する基材フィルム形成工程と、
上記基材フィルム押出体の一方の面に、上記光学シートのスティッキング防止層を構成するためのスティッキング防止層用組成物を塗工により積層する積層工程と、
上記基材フィルム押出体及びスティッキング防止層用組成物層の積層体を延伸する延伸工程と、
上記延伸工程の後に基材フィルム押出体の他方の面に光学層を形成する工程と
を有しており、
上記スティッキング防止層用組成物が、無機フィラー及び合成樹脂バインダーを含み、上記無機フィラーとして平均粒子径が10nm以上150nm以下のコロイダルシリカを含み、かつ上記無機フィラーの配合量(スティッキング防止層用組成物中の固形分換算の配合量)が20質量%以上50質量%以下であることを特徴とする光学シートの製造方法。 - 上記基材フィルム形成工程と上記積層工程の間に、基材フィルム押出体を予備的に延伸する予備的延伸工程を有している請求項1に記載の光学シートの製造方法。
- 上記予備的延伸工程において基材フィルム押出体をフィルム長手方向に延伸し、上記延伸工程において基材フィルム押出体及びスティッキング防止層用組成物層の積層体をフィルム幅方向に延伸する請求項2に記載の光学シートの製造方法。
