Description
すなわち、本発明は、金属の電解精錬工程に用いられる電極板の縁部に取り付ける縁部絶縁部材であって、棒状をなし、その長手方向に沿って延びる装着溝を有する絶縁部材本体と、前記絶縁部材本体の長手方向の端部に配置される端部被覆部材と、を備え、前記絶縁部材本体の前記端部における外周面及び前記装着溝の内周面のうち少なくとも一方には、凹部、凸部、又は凹凸部からなる被係合部が形成されており、前記端部被覆部材は、溶融した樹脂材料が前記端部に固化し一体に形成されているとともに、前記被係合部の形状に対応して形成された係合部を有することを特徴とする。
また、被係合部26、36の形状、配置、数量は、図示の例に限定されるものではない。

Claims (4)
- 金属の電解精錬工程に用いられる電極板の縁部に取り付ける縁部絶縁部材であって、
棒状をなし、その長手方向に沿って延びる装着溝を有する絶縁部材本体と、
前記絶縁部材本体の長手方向の端部に配置される端部被覆部材と、を備え、
前記絶縁部材本体の前記端部における外周面及び前記装着溝の内周面のうち少なくとも一方には、凹部、凸部、又は凹凸部からなる被係合部が形成されており、
前記端部被覆部材は、溶融した樹脂材料が前記端部に固化し一体に形成されているとともに、前記被係合部の形状に対応して形成された係合部を有することを特徴とする縁部絶縁部材。 - 請求項1に記載の縁部絶縁部材であって、
前記被係合部は、有底穴及び溝のいずれかであることを特徴とする縁部絶縁部材。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の縁部絶縁部材であって、
前記装着溝には、弾性材料からなるシール膜が形成されており、
前記絶縁部材本体と前記シール膜とが、二色成形法により一体成形されていることを特徴とする縁部絶縁部材。 - 金属の電解精錬工程に用いられる電極板の縁部に取り付ける縁部絶縁部材の製造方法であって、
押出し成形により、棒状をなし、その長手方向に沿って延びる装着溝を有する絶縁部材本体を成形する工程と、
前記絶縁部材本体の長手方向の端部における外周面及び前記装着溝の内周面のうち少なくとも一方に、凹部、凸部、又は凹凸部からなる被係合部を形成する工程と、
射出成形により、前記端部に端部被覆部材を一体成形するとともに、前記被係合部の形状に対応して固化することで、前記被係合部に係合する係合部を形成する工程と、を備えることを特徴とする縁部絶縁部材の製造方法。
