A. ETAC:トナー画像の反射光を測定するために使用されるセンサ。画像の量はこの情報に基づいて決定される。
B. ADC:トナー画像の反射光を測定するために使用されるセンサ。画像の量はこの情報に基づいて決定される。
C. ITB:中間転写ベルト。
D. OPC:光導電体。これは、光を用いて帯電又は放電され得るベルト又はドラムであってよい。
E. IQ:画質
F. −50μA:−50マイクロアンペア(電流)。
G. RMA:残質量/単位面積、基板への転写発生後にOPC又はITBに残るトナー、TMA:転写質量/単位面積、及びDMA:現像剤質量/単位面積。

Claims (1)
- 電子写真装置によって生成される画像の品質改善方法であって、
前記電子写真装置において、印刷がなされる基板又は紙への画像の転写前の光導電体上の単位面積当たりのトナー現像質量(DMA)及び光導電体上に残留するトナーの転写後の単位面積当りのトナー残質量(RMA)、転写システムの電気的特性、基板と環境パラメータを入力変数として有する組込みソフトウェア又はアルゴリズムを決定し、
前記DMA及び前記RMAを測定することによって、今現在所望されている画像形成プロセスに対応するトナーと基板と環境パラメータとの条件を決定するための、少なくとも一回の最終転写セットアップ・ルーチン画像形成処理を実行し、
前記DMAと、前記RMAと、前記環境パラメータとをそれぞれ測定するための複数のセンサを提供し、
前記入力変数のすべてを前記組込みソフトウェア又はアルゴリズムに組み込むことにより前記組込みソフトウェア又はアルゴリズムを変更する
ことを含む方法。
