Description
Claims (12)
- 液晶表示装置の製造方法であって、
アレイ基板、及びカラーフィルター基板を形成する工程と;
前記アレイ基板、及びカラーフィルター基板のうちのいずれか一つにシールパターンを形成する工程と;
前記シールパターン内に、紫外線硬化剤を含むモノマーを含む液晶層を形成し、前記アレイ基板及びカラーフィルター基板を合着する工程と;
複数の発光ダイオードから出射される第1紫外線で前記シールパターンを硬化する工程であって、前記第1紫外線は、前記液晶相のモノマーを硬化可能である340nm乃至365nmの範囲の波長を除いた波長を有し、前記複数の発光ダイオードは相互に離隔して一列に配置され、隣接した前記複数の発光ダイオード間には反射板が形成され、前記反射板は全面的に平坦な面を有し、前記複数の発光ダイオードは前記反射板の全面的に平坦な面上に突出している、工程と;
340nm乃至365nmの範囲の波長を有する第2紫外線で前記液晶層を安定化させる工程であって、前記シールパターン上に第2紫外線が照射されても、前記シールパターンは前記第2紫外線に反応しない、工程と;
前記アレイ基板、及びカラーフィルター基板を単位セルに切断する工程と
を含む、液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記第1紫外線を、前記液晶層及び前記シールパターンの全域に照射する、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記第1紫外線は、385nm、395nm、405nmのうちの少なくとも一つの波長を有する、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記シールパターンは、光開始剤、紫外線硬化剤、モノマー、バインダー、及びガラス繊維を含む紫外線硬化樹脂からなる、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記液晶層は、ネマチック液晶、スメクチック液晶、コレステリック液晶、及びブルー相モード液晶のうちの一つからなる、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記ブルー相モード液晶は、光開始剤及びモノマーを含む、請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記アレイ基板は、ゲートラインと、前記ゲートラインと交差して画素を定義するデータラインと、前記ゲートライン、及び前記データラインに連結される薄膜トランジスタと、前記薄膜トランジスタに連結される画素電極とを含んでおり、前記カラーフィルター基板は、前記ゲートライン、前記データライン、及び前記薄膜トランジスタに対応するブラックマトリクスと、前記ブラックマトリクスの上部のカラーフィルター層と、前記カラーフィルター層の上部の共通電極とを含む、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 第1及び第2基板と、紫外線硬化剤を含むモノマーを含み、前記第1及び第2基板間に形成される液晶層と、前記液晶層の液漏れを防ぎ、前記第1及び第2基板を合着させるシールパターンとを含む液晶表示装置の製造方法であって、
前記第1及び第2基板が安着されるステージと、紫外線を出射する少なくとも一つの発光ダイオードとを含む硬化装置の第1紫外線により前記シールパターンを硬化する工程であって、前記第1紫外線は、前記液晶相のモノマーを硬化可能である340nm乃至365nmの範囲の波長を除いた波長を有する、工程と;
340nm乃至365nmの範囲の波長を有する第2紫外線で前記液晶層を安定化させる工程であって、前記シールパターン上に第2紫外線が照射されても、前記シールパターンは前記第2紫外線に反応しない、工程と、
を含み、
前記少なくとも一つの発光ダイオードは相互に離隔して一列に配置され、隣接した前記複数の発光ダイオード間には反射板が形成され、
前記反射板は全面的に平坦な面を有し、及び
前記少なくとも一つの発光ダイオードは前記反射板の全面的に平坦な面上に突出している、
液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記第1紫外線を、前記液晶層及び前記シールパターンの全域に照射する、請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記シールパターンは、光開始剤、紫外線硬化剤、モノマー、バインダー、及びガラス繊維を含む、請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記ステージは複数のリフトピンホールが上下に透孔され、前記リフトピンホールには前記第1及び第2基板をアップ/ダウンさせる複数のリフトピンが各々挿入される、請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記ステージは、アノダイジング処理、又はブラックフッ素コーティング処理される、請求項11に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
