Claims (6)
- 電気化学センサをゼロ較正する方法であって、
(a)(i)試験体積中に存在する対象の検体濃度に比例する電流を生成するために、双方ともに電解質および試験体積に接触している検出電極および対極と、(ii)前記電極によって発生する電流を受けるとともに前記電流に比例する電気出力信号を生成するために、前記電極と電気的に連通する信号伝達モジュールと、(iii)前記電気出力信号を受けるとともに処理するためのマイクロプロセッサと、(iv)閉じられたときに前記検出電極と対極との間を短絡することによって、前記電極によって発生する電流が前記信号伝達モジュールをバイパスするようになっているノーマルオープンスイッチとを有する電気化学センサを得る段階と、
(b)前記検出電極がさらされる対象の検体濃度にかかわりなく、前記電極を短絡する段階と、
(c)電極を短絡した状態でマイクロプロセッサによって受けられたバックグラウンド信号をゼロ較正値として記録する段階と、を有する方法。 - 前記バックグラウンド信号が値を有し、この値がゼロ較正値として記録される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バックグラウンド信号が検体濃度を示している数値に関連付けられて、前記関連付けられた濃度数値がゼロ較正値として記録される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記電気化学センサが酸素センサである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記信号伝達モジュールは、前記電極によって発生する電流を電圧に変換するのに有効な負荷抵抗を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記電極がスイッチの作動によって短絡される請求項1に記載の方法。
