Claims (2)
- 熱間鋼スラブの板幅方向に相対峙して設置され、熱間鋼スラブを板幅方向に間欠的に圧下する幅圧下用金型であり、スラブ圧下面より、耐熱合金を用いた外層、熱伝導性の高い銅系合金あるいはアルミ系合金を用いた中間層、一般の機械構造用鋼を用いた内層の3層構造からなり、金型中間層の内部、または/および、金型中間層と金型内層との境界に、金型の外部より冷却水を供給、循環、排出させる複数の水冷孔を有することを特徴とする熱間鋼スラブの幅圧下用金型。
- 請求項1に記載の熱間鋼スラブの幅圧下用金型を用いたスラブの幅圧下方法であり、当該スラブの幅圧下の途中において、または/および、当該スラブの幅圧下の終了後から次スラブの幅圧下を開始するまでの間において、前記水冷孔に冷却水を循環させて金型中間層の冷却を行うことを特徴とする熱間鋼スラブの幅圧下方法。
