Claims (17)
- 濾過される流体用の少なくとも入口(21)、及び、前記流体が濾過されたときのための出口(22)が設けられた硬質の外側ケーシング(2)と、前記外側ケーシング(2)の内部に配置された着脱可能なフィルタカートリッジ(3)とを備え、前記フィルタカートリッジ(3)が、前記外側ケーシング(2)の前記入口(21)から前記出口(22)に向かって流れる前記流体により通過されるようになっている、互いに平行に配置された複数の管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)を備える内燃エンジン用フィルタにおいて、
前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)の各々が、少なくとも1つの開放端を有するように作られ、
前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)の各々の前記開放端が支持フランジ(31,31’,32’)に取り付けられており、前記支持フランジ(31,31’,32’)が、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)を互いに接続するようになっており、且つ、前記支持フランジ(31,31’,32’)に、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)のキャビティに位置合わせされた少なくとも1つの通し穴(33)が設けられ、
前記外側ケーシング(2)が前記着脱可能なフィルタカートリッジ(3)の挿入又は引き出しのための開放可能なカバー(23)を含み、
前記外側ケーシング(2)がポーチ(24)を画成するように適合されており、前記ポーチ(24)の、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)の軸に対して垂直な面に沿った横断面が、展開延在線(A)、及び、前記展開延在線(A)に対して短い幅(B)を示し、且つ、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)が前記ポーチ(24)の内部に互いに並んで配置され、前記ポーチ(24)の前記展開延在線(A)に沿って単一の列を形成し、これにより、前記ポーチ(24)の前記幅(B)が単一の管状フィルタ壁部(30)により占められ、
前記支持フランジ(31,31’,32’)が、前記外側ケーシング(2)の横断面の全体を占め、それにより、内部容積を2つの別々のチャンバに小分割し、該2つの別々のチャンバのうち第1のチャンバが前記入口(21)に連通し、第2のチャンバが前記出口(22)に連通することを特徴とする内燃エンジン用フィルタ。 - 前記展開延在線(A)が、カーブした線、及び、分割された線により構成される群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)の各々が、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)の長さの20%以下の直径を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記管状フィルタ壁部(30)の各々が、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30)の各々の反対端も開放されるように作られており、前記反対端が、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30)を互いに接続するようになっている第2の支持フランジ(32,31’,32’)により閉鎖されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 管状フィルタ壁部(30’)の各々が、前記反対端が閉鎖されるように作られることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記閉鎖端が、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30’)の側壁を平坦にし且つ結合することにより得られることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記フィルタカートリッジ(3)が、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)が前記流体により並列に通過されるようになっているように予め配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記フィルタカートリッジ(3)が、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)の各々が内側から外側に向かって通過されるようになっているように予め配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記フィルタカートリッジ(3)が、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)の各々が前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)の各々の外側から内側に向かって通過されるようになっているように予め配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記フィルタカートリッジ(3)が、前記複数の管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)の外側を包囲する、さらなるプレフィルタリング管状壁部(35,35’)を含み、これにより、前記プレフィルタリング管状壁部(35,35’)が、前記管状フィルタ壁部(30,31’)の上流にて前記流体により通過されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記プレフィルタリング管状壁部(35’)が閉鎖端を有するように作られていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記閉鎖端が、前記プレフィルタリング管状壁部(35’)の側壁を平坦にし且つ結合することにより得られることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記フィルタカートリッジ(3)が、少なくとも1つの管状フィルタ壁部(30)が前記カートリッジ(3)のその他の管状フィルタ壁部(30)に対して前記流体により連続して通過されるように予め配置されており、前記少なくとも1つの管状フィルタ壁部(30)が、前記その他の管状フィルタ壁部(30)よりも高い多孔性を有し、且つ、流れの方向に対して前記その他の管状フィルタ壁部(30)の上流に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記フィルタカートリッジ(3)の前記壁部(30,30’,35,35’)が、ポリマー繊維から成る不織布から作成されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記フィルタカートリッジ(3)がメルトブロー法を用いて実現されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記展開延在線(A)が真直な線であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- エア取り入れ口と、吸気マニホルドを有する内燃エンジンと、該内燃エンジン用フィルタを備えるシステムにおいて、
前記フィルタが、少なくとも、前記エア取り入れ口と接続され、濾過される流体用の入口(21)、及び、前記内燃エンジンの前記吸気マニホルドと接続され、前記流体が濾過されたときのための出口(22)が設けられた硬質の外側ケーシング(2)と、前記外側ケーシング(2)の内部に配置された着脱可能なフィルタカートリッジ(3)とを備え、前記フィルタカートリッジ(3)が、前記外側ケーシング(2)の前記入口(21)から前記出口(22)に向かって流れる前記流体により通過されるようになっている、互いに平行に配置された複数の管状フィルタ壁部(30,30’)を備え、
