Description
Claims (18)
- ビーディング部を備えない電池缶の開放端に組み立てられる二次電池用キャップアッセンブリーであって、
最上部に突出された形態で配置され正極端子を形成するトップキャップと、
前記トップキャップの下部で前記トップキャップと接触するように配置された安全素子と、
前記安全素子と接触するように配置された安全ベントと、
前記トップキャップ、前記安全素子、及び前記安全ベントの縁を包むガスケットと、
前記トップキャップ、前記安全素子、及び前記安全ベントを密着可能に前記ガスケットを取り囲むカバーと、及び
前記カバーの上部に配置され、前記電池缶の開放端に組み立て可能に外側端部が前記カバーの外側端部よりも外側方向に突出されるように位置し、前記カバーの外側端部よりも突出された部分の上面に第1ノッチが形成され、前記第1ノッチが形成された部分で前記電池缶の開放端と溶接される溶接部材とを備えてなることを特徴とする、二次電池用キャップアッセンブリー。 - 前記溶接部材が、前記カバーと溶接されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池用キャップアッセンブリー。
- 前記溶接部材の内側端部が、前記カバーの内側端部よりも外側方向に位置し、前記溶接部材の内側端部部分で前記カバーと溶接されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の二次電池用キャップアッセンブリー。
- 前記溶接部材が、上面に第2ノッチが形成され、前記第2ノッチが形成された部分で前記カバーと溶接されることを特徴とする、請求項2又は3に記載の二次電池用キャップアッセンブリー。
- 前記電池缶の開放端に載置部が備えられてなり、
前記カバーが、前記電池缶の載置部に載置されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の二次電池用キャップアッセンブリー。 - 前記溶接部材が、前記第1ノッチが形成された部分における上下長さが0.3mm以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の二次電池用キャップアッセンブリー。
- 上部が前記安全ベントの下端に連結され、下部が電極アッセンブリーと連結可能な電流遮断部材と、及び
前記安全ベントと前記電流遮断部材との間に介され、前記安全ベントの突出部分と前記電流遮断部材とが接触する部分を除いては、前記電流遮断部材を前記安全ベントと電気的に絶縁させる絶縁部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の二次電池用キャップアッセンブリー。 - 前記ガスケットが、下端部が前記電流遮断部材の下部を包むように伸ばされたことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の二次電池用キャップアッセンブリー。
- 前記キャップアッセンブリーが、円形であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の二次電池用キャップアッセンブリー。
- 二次電池であって、
正極板及び負極板がセパレータを挟んで配置された電極アッセンブリーと、及び、
キャップアッセンブリーとを備えてなるものであり、
前記キャップアッセンブリーが、
ビーディング部を備えずに前記電極アッセンブリー及び電解液を収納する電池缶と、
最上部に突出された形態で配置され正極端子を形成するトップキャップと、
前記トップキャップの下部で前記トップキャップと接触するように配置された安全素子と、
前記安全素子と接触するように配置された安全ベントと、
前記トップキャップ、前記安全素子、及び前記安全ベントの縁を包むガスケットと、
前記トップキャップ、前記安全素子、及び前記安全ベントを密着可能に前記ガスケットを取り囲むカバーと、及び、
前記カバーの上部に配置され、前記電池缶の開放端に組み立て可能に外側端部が前記カバーの外側端部よりも外側方向に突出されるように位置し、前記カバーの外側端部よりも突出された部分の上面に第1ノッチが形成され、前記第1ノッチが形成された部分で前記電池缶の開放端と溶接される溶接部材とを備えてなることを特徴とする、二次電池。 - 前記溶接部材が、前記カバーと溶接されたことを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の二次電池。
- 前記溶接部材の内側端部が、前記カバーの内側端部よりも外側方向に位置し、前記溶接部材の内側端部部分で前記カバーと溶接されたことを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の二次電池。
- 前記溶接部材が、上面に第2ノッチが形成され、前記第2ノッチが形成された部分で前記カバーと溶接されたことを特徴とする、請求項10又は11に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池缶が、開放端に載置部を備えてなり、
前記カバーが、前記電池缶の載置部に載置されることを特徴とする、請求項10〜13の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記溶接部材が、前記第1ノッチが形成された部分における上下長さが0.3mm以下であることを特徴とする、請求項10〜14の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャップアッセンブリーは、上部が前記安全ベントの下端に連結され、下部が前記電極アッセンブリーと連結された電流遮断部材と、及び、
前記安全ベントと前記電流遮断部材との間に介され、前記安全ベントの突出部分と前記電流遮断部材とが接触する部分を除いては、前記電流遮断部材を前記安全ベントと電気的に絶縁させる絶縁部材とをさらに備えてなることを特徴とする、請求項10〜15の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記ガスケットが、下端部が前記電流遮断部材の下部を包むように伸ばされたことを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池缶が、円筒形であることを特徴とする、請求項10〜17の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
