Description
強化挿入物は、例えば繊維、ヤーン、コード、織布、又は編成布の形態で用いられる。
したがって、1工程プロセスの形態で処理を行う試みが多く存在する。1工程系は、例えばUS−2002/0122938及びUS−3,419,450に記載されている。
本発明によれば、イソシアネート及びレゾルシノールホルムアルデヒドラテックス(RFL)に加えて、エポキシドとして選択されたエポキシド、則ち固体の形態のビスフェノールAエポキシノボラックが配合物中に含まれている、強化ポリマー製品を製造するための強化挿入物の処理のための1工程系のための接着剤分散液が提案される。
したがって本発明の必須要素は、指示された重量量のビスフェノールAエポキシノボラックの形態の特定のエポキシドを選択することである。ノボラックは、酸の触媒作用によってホルムアルデヒド及びフェノールから、則ち現在においてはホルムアルデヒド及びビスフェノールAから製造される重縮合生成物である。エポキシ基の導入はエピクロロヒドリンとの反応によって行う。
本発明にしたがって用いるレゾルシノールホルムアルデヒドラテックス系(RFL)は、それ自体最新技術から公知である。
クレゾールエポキシノボラック:Cibaという企業によるECN-1400。
210g/eqのエポキシド当量、8の官能価、及び80℃の軟化点を有するビスフェノールAエポキシノボラック。
ブロックトイソシアネート:EMS-PRIMIDという企業によるGrilbond IL-6。
RFL:
脱イオン水434部;
スチレンブタジエンビニルピリジンラテックス(固形分の割合:41重量%)483部;
レゾルシノール22部;
ホルムアルデヒド(37重量%)32部;
水酸化ナトリウム0.6部;
水酸化アンモニウム(25重量%)25部。
スチレンブタジエンビニルピリジンラテックスを第2の容器内に配置し、水酸化アンモニウムと混合し、第1の容器からの混合物に加えた。1日中及び更に17時間、撹拌を行った。約23重量%の固形分を有するRFLが得られた。
以下の組成の固形分の割合を有する分散液を調製した。
14.5重量%のECN-1400;
14.5重量%のGrilbond IL-6;
71重量%のRFL。
以下の組成の固形分の割合を有する分散液を調製した。
14.5重量%のビスフェノールAエポキシノボラック;
14.5重量%のGrilbond IL-6;
71重量%のRFL。
しかしながら、ビスフェノールAエポキシノボラック自体を用いる本発明にしたがう1工程浸漬は、70時間のポットライフの後に、且つ100時間後においても優れた接着性を有する。この点に関しては、これも表1と同様にASTM−D4393にしたがい試験ラバーとしてContinental B458ラバーを用いて測定した相対剥離値を示す表2を参照されたい。70時間後においても、また101時間後においても被覆浴における基材被覆は認められなかった。
Claims (23)
- 接着剤配合物に対して10〜40重量%の固形分含量を有する水性分散液の形態で、固形分の100重量%が、
(a)1〜20重量%のビスフェノールAエポキシノボラック;
(b)4〜20重量%の完全か又は部分的にブロックされているイソシアネート;
(c)60〜92重量%のレゾルシノールホルムアルデヒドラテックス(RFL);
を含む、強化ポリマー製品を製造するための強化挿入物を処理するための接着剤配合物であって、該強化挿入物が繊維、ヤーン、コード、織布および編成布よりなる群から選択される、上記の接着剤配合物。 - 固形分含量が、10〜30重量%である、請求項1に記載の接着剤配合物。
- 固形分含量が、15〜30重量%である、請求項1に記載の接着剤配合物。
- 固形分含量が、18〜27重量%である、請求項1に記載の接着剤配合物。
- ビスフェノールAエポキシノボラック(a)の固形分の割合が4〜19重量%である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- ビスフェノールAエポキシノボラック(a)の固形分の割合が12.5〜18重量%である、請求項5に記載の接着剤配合物。
- 配合物が、触媒として、0.0001〜0.1モル/kgの、金属亜鉛、ストロンチウム、カドミウム、ナトリウム、セシウム、カリウム、銀、バリウム、チタン、クロム、スズ、アンチモン、マンガン、鉄、コバルト、ニッケル、セリウム、ウラン、銅、カルシウム、亜鉛、鉛、及びジルコニウムから選択される金属化合物を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- イソシアネートがラクタムでブロックされている、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- イソシアネートが、4,4−ジイソシアネートジフェニルメタン(MDI)、及び/又はトルエンジイソシアネート(TDI)、及び/又はナフチルジイソシアネート(NDI)から選択される、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- 更に接着剤及び/又は分散剤を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- ブロックされているか又は部分的にブロックされているイソシアネート(b)の固形分の割合が4〜19重量%である、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- RFL(c)の固形分の割合が62〜92重量%である、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- 接着剤配合物のポットライフが、少なくとも6時間である、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- 接着剤配合物のポットライフが、少なくとも24時間である、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- 接着剤配合物のポットライフが、少なくとも48時間である、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- 接着剤配合物のポットライフが、少なくとも70時間である、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- 接着剤配合物のポットライフが、少なくとも100時間である、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物。
- 請求項1〜17のいずれかに記載の接着剤配合物を用いて行う、強化ポリマー製品を製造するための強化挿入物を処理する方法。
- 強化挿入物がタイヤコード、コンベヤーコード、及び/又はVベルトコードである、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 個々の成分を混合することによって、処理の直前に接着剤配合物を製造する、請求項18または19に記載の方法。
- 成分(a)及び(b)を有する混合物として既に存在している配合物中に成分(c)(RFL)を混合することによって、適用の直前に接着剤配合物を製造する、請求項18または19に記載の方法。
- ポリエステル製の非活性化強化挿入物を処理する、請求項18〜21のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 成分(a)のビスフェノールAエポキシノボラックと成分(b)のイソシアネートとの重量比は、60:40〜40:60の範囲である、請求項1に記載の接着剤配合物。
