Description

Claims (7)
- 第一の脊椎部分に取り付けるための第一の脊椎取付け部材と;
第二の脊椎部分に取り付けるための第二の脊椎取付け部材と;
脊椎インプラントが患者に取り付けられた手術を完了した後に作動可能であって、前記第一及び第二の脊椎取付け部材間に相対運動を生じさせる、前記第一及び第二の脊椎取付け部材間に配置された埋め込み後可変寸法デバイスとを備え、
前記埋め込み後可変寸法デバイスは、同様にネジが切られた左右相称の2つの引上げネジと;
前記引き上げネジと連結された複数の歯車からなる歯車列と;
前記歯車列を駆動する遠隔制御モータとを有し、
前記遠隔制御モータの動作により、前記歯車列を介した前記引き上げネジの移動により前記第一及び第二の脊椎取付け部材の間隔を調整することを特徴とする脊椎インプラント。 - 任意所望の荷重及び移動限界に対して任意所望の時間間隔にて作動されるようにプログラム可能であるプロセッサを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記埋め込み後可変寸法デバイスが、スリープモードにて作動するための回路を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記埋め込み後可変寸法デバイスが、前記脊椎インプラントに配置されたバッテリーによって作動されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記バッテリーが、遠隔エネルギー伝達を用いて充電可能であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 体内の上棘突起と下棘突起との間に伸延(distraction)を生じさせるための脊椎インプラントであって、
上棘突起に対して下方に配置された第一の支持プレートと;
下棘突起に対して上方に配置された第二の支持プレートと;
前記脊椎インプラントを患者に埋め込んだ後に作動可能な、前記第一及び第二の支持プレート間に配置された埋め込み後可変寸法デバイスと;を含み、
前記埋め込み後可変寸法デバイスが、同様にネジが切られた左右相称の2つの引上げネジを含み、
前記引上げネジは、遠隔制御モータによって駆動される歯車列によって駆動され、
当該脊椎インプラントは2つの隣合う前記棘突起の間に配置可能であり、これによって、前記下棘突起が前記第二の支持プレートによって支持され、前記上棘突起が前記第一の支持プレートによって支持され、これら2つの支持プレートが水平方向に沿って互いに離間することを特徴とする脊椎インプラント。 - 前記埋め込み後可変寸法デバイスを制御するプロセッサとセンサーとを更に備え、前記第一及び第二の脊椎取付け部材に加わる荷重又はこれらの間隔を調整可能としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
