Description
前記樹脂混合物の融点(粘度が30000Pa・sであるときの温度)が80〜105℃であり、前記ポリエチレンは、密度が0.910g/cm3以上0.930g/cm3未満の低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)又は密度が0.910〜0.940g/cm3の直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)であり、前記エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体の酢酸ビニル含有率が、20質量%以上30質量%未満であることを特徴とする太陽電池用封止膜により達成される。
(2)前記質量比(EVA:PE)が6:4〜3:7である。加熱時の収縮性、架橋性及び耐久性が更に良好な封止膜を得ることができる。
(3)JIS K 6300−2に準じた振動式加硫試験により測定した、条件150℃、15分における最小トルクMLが0.04N・m以下であり、最大トルクMHが0.4N・m以上である。十分に架橋反応が行われる封止膜が得られ、太陽電池の他の部材と強固に接着一体化することができる。
上記作製した太陽電池用封止膜を85℃の温水に60秒浸漬し、封止膜の収縮度を測定した。浸漬後の寸法と浸漬前の寸法とを比較し、浸漬前の寸法に対する収縮した長さを温水収縮率とて算出した。25%未満を○とし、25〜30%を△とし、30%を超えたものを×とした。
上記作製した太陽電池用封止膜についてJIS K6300−2に準じた振動式加硫試験により、キュラストメーター(製品名:II型、JSRトレーディング社製)を用い、150℃、15分の条件において架橋度の指標であるトルク値を測定した。得られた測定値において、最小トルクMLが0.04N・m以下であり、最大トルクMHが0.4N・m以上である場合を○とし、この場合以外を×とした。
ガラス/上記太陽電池用封止膜/発電素子(単結晶シリコンセル)/上記太陽電池用封止膜/PETフィルムをこの順で積層した積層体を、真空ラミネータで150℃において10分間加熱加圧して各部材が一体化された太陽電池を得た。この太陽電池について、高温多湿条件下(85℃、85RH%)において初期の起電力及び2000時間後の起電力を測定した。初期の起電力に対する2000時間経過後の起電力の低下度を算出し、5%未満を○、5%以上を×とした。

ペトロセン342: 低密度ポリエチレン(MFR8g/10分、融点107℃)東ソー製
LW01: 低密度ポリエチレン(MFR4.3g/10分、融点128℃)東ソー製
パーヘキサ25B: 2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ(t−ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン(10時間半減期温度118℃)日本油脂製
TAIC: トリアリルイソシアヌレート、日本化成製
KBM503: γ−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、信越化学製

UF230: 直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(MFR1g/10分、融点121℃)日本ポリエチレン製
UJ790: 直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(MFR50g/10分、融点124℃)日本ポリエチレン製
パーヘキサ25B: 2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ(t−ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン(10時間半減期温度118℃)日本油脂製
TAIC: トリアリルイソシアヌレート、日本化成製
KBM503: γ−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、信越化学製
EVAとPEの質量比が8:2〜3:7の範囲外の場合には温水収縮率又は架橋特性が低下していることが認められた。また、融点が80℃未満の場合には温水収縮率が大きく、融点が105℃を超える場合には架橋特性及び耐久性が低下していることが認められた。

Claims (8)
- エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体とポリエチレンからなる樹脂混合物及び有機過酸化物を含み、
前記樹脂混合物における前記エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)と前記ポリエチレン(PE)の質量比(EVA:PE)が8:2〜3:7であり、
前記樹脂混合物の融点(粘度が30000Pa・sであるときの温度)が80〜105℃であり、
前記ポリエチレンは、密度が0.910g/cm3以上0.930g/cm3未満の低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)又は密度が0.910〜0.940g/cm3の直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)であり、
前記エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体の酢酸ビニル含有率が、20質量%以上30質量%未満であることを特徴とする太陽電池用封止膜。 - 前記樹脂混合物の融点が80〜95℃であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 前記質量比(EVA:PE)が6:4〜3:7であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- JIS K 6300−2に準じた振動式加硫試験により測定した、条件150℃、15分における最小トルクMLが0.04N・m以下であり、最大トルクMHが0.4N・m以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 前記ポリエチレンは、エチレンの単独重合体又はエチレンと5mol%以下の炭素数3以上のα−オレフィンとの共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 前記ポリエチレンは、密度が0.910g/cm3以上0.930g/cm3未満の低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 前記エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体の酢酸ビニル含有率が、20〜26質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 請求項1〜7の何れか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜により発電素子を封止してなる太陽電池。
