(1)第1〜第4実施形態、参考形態では、外部からパッケージ14への熱伝導を抑制する要素(熱伝導抑制手段)として、パッケージ14の全体を覆う断熱材層16(第1〜第4実施形態)と、パッケージ14の全体を覆うエア層20(参考形態)を示したが、これらと同様の断熱作用が得られる要素であればこの要素を断熱材層16及びエア層20に代えて用いることも可能である。
(2)第1〜第4実施形態、参考形態では、電気二重層キャパシタ10−1〜10−5として積層型と称されるタイプのものを示したが、ボタン型や巻回型と称されるタイプの電気二重層キャパシタに本発明を適用しても同様の作用効果を得ることができる。
(3)第1〜第4実施形態、参考形態では、電気二重層キャパシタ10−1〜10−5に本発明を適用したものを例示したが、同様のパッケージを備えた他の電気化学デバイス、例えばリチウムイオンキャパシタやレドックスキャパシタやリチウムイオン電池等であっても本発明を適用して同様の作用効果を得ることができる。
Claims (6)
- 半田付けによって実装して用いる電気化学デバイスであって、パッケージと、該パッケージ内に封入された蓄電素子と、一方の端部が前記蓄電素子に電気的に接続され、他方の端部側が前記パッケージから導出された少なくとも1対の端子と、前記パッケージ全体と前記端子の導出部分の基端部とを被覆し、外部から前記パッケージへの熱伝導を抑制する熱伝導抑制手段と、を備え、前記熱伝導抑制手段は、前記パッケージの熱伝導率よりも低い熱伝導率を有する多孔質材からなる断熱材層を備えることを特徴とする電気化学デバイス。
- 前記熱伝導抑制手段は、前記断熱材層と、該断熱材層を被覆するカバーシートと、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記カバーシートは、粘着材を介して前記断熱材層の表面に貼り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記カバーシートには、エア抜き孔が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記パッケージと前記断熱材層との間に該断熱材層に被覆されるように介装され、前記パッケージよりも高い剛性を有し、該パッケージ及び前記端子の導出部分の基端部を被覆する変形抑制材を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 表面にランドが形成された回路基板と、該回路基板上に搭載され、前記端子の導出部分の先端が前記ランドに半田を介して接続された請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の電気化学デバイスと、を有することを特徴とする電気化学デバイスの実装構造。
