Description
硬化状態で相互浸透ネットワーク(以下、「IPN」と称することがある)(Interpenetrating Polymer Network)構造を具現する粘着剤組成物に関するものである。
前記偏光フィルムの一面または両面に形成され、本発明に係る粘着剤組成物から形成された粘着層を含む粘着偏光板に関するものである。
前記偏光フィルムの一面または両面に形成され、前述した本発明に係る粘着剤組成物から形成された粘着層を含む粘着偏光板に関するものである。
<アクリル系共重合体の製造>
窒素ガスが還流され、温度調節が容易な冷却装置付き1L反応器に、n−ブチルアクリレート(n−BA)79重量部、メトキシエチレングリコールアクリレート(MEA)20重量部及びヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(HEA)1.0重量部を含む単量体混合物を加えた。次いで、溶剤として酢酸エチル(EAc)120重量部を加え、酸素を除去するために窒素ガスを60分間パージした。続いて、温度を60℃に保持し、反応開始剤としてアゾビスイソブチロニトリル(AIBN)0.03重量部を加えた後、8時間反応した。反応後、酢酸エチル(EAc)で希釈して、固形分濃度が15重量%、重量平均分子量が1,600,000、分子量分布が4.9のアクリル系共重合体を製造した。
前記製造されたアクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、6官能アクリレート(イソシアネート変性ウレタンアクリレート;イソシアネートとペンタエリトリトールトリアクリレートの反応物)10重量部、XDI系イソシアネート硬化剤(D110N、Mitsui Takeda製(日本))1.0重量部、光開始剤としてヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン(Ciba Specilaty Chemicals製(スイス))0.5重量部及びβ−シアノアセチル基含有シラン系カップリング剤(LG Chemical Ltd.製(韓国))0.2重量部を混合し、塗工液固形分濃度が15%になるように調節することによって粘着剤組成物を製造した。
前記製造された粘着剤組成物を剥離シートとして離型処理された厚さ38ミクロンのポリエチレンテレフタレート(MRF−38、Mitsubisi Coropration製(日本))フィルム上に乾燥後厚さが25ミクロンになるようにコーティングした後、前記フィルムを110℃のオーブンで3分間乾燥した。乾燥された粘着層を約1日間、恒温恒湿室(23℃、55%RH)で保管した後、片面にWV(Wide View)液晶層がコートされた偏光板のWVコート層に前記粘着層をラミネートした。粘着層に下記条件で処理を遂行し、粘着偏光板を製造した。
紫外線トランスイルミネータ:高圧水銀ランプ
照射条件:照度=600mW/cm2、光量=150mJ/cm2
<アクリル系共重合体の製造>
共重合体製造時に、下記表1に示されるような原料を用いたことを除いては、前記実施例1と同様にして、アクリル系共重合体を製造した(下記表1でアクリル系共重合体Aは実施例1で製造された共重合体と同じである)。
前記製造されたアクリル系共重合体に下記表2及び3に示されるような成分を混合したことを除いては、実施例1と同様にして粘着剤組成物を製造した。
前記それぞれの粘着剤組成物を用いて実施例1と同様にして粘着偏光板を製造した。
紫外線照射後、製造された粘着層を約7日間、恒温恒湿室(23℃、60%RH)に放置した。次いで、約0.3gの粘着剤をステンレス200メッシュ金網に入れた後、酢酸エチルに沈積し、室温の暗室で3日間保管した。 続いて、不溶解分を分離し、70℃のオーブンで4時間乾燥して質量を測定した後、これを用いてゲル分率を測定した。
製造された粘着偏光板を25mm×100mm(幅×長さ)の大きさに裁断してサンプルを製造し、剥離シートを除去した後、無アルカリガラスにラミネーターを利用して付着した。次いで、オートクレーブ(50℃、5気圧)で約20分間圧着処理し、恒温恒湿条件(23℃、50%RH)に24時間保管した。その後、テクスチャーアナライザー(Stable Micro Systems Ltd.製 (イギリス))を利用して、300mm/minの剥離速度及び180度剥離角度の条件で粘着力を測定し、これを通じて下記基準に基づいて再剥離性を評価した。
○:1日後の粘着力が800以下
△:1日後の粘着力が1,000以上
×:1日後の粘着力が2,000以上
製造された粘着偏光板を180mm×250mm(幅×長さ)の大きさに裁断してサンプルを製造し、前記サンプルを19インチの市販パネルにラミネーターを利用して付着した。次いで、オートクレーブ(50℃、5気圧)で約20分間圧着処理し、恒温恒湿条件(23℃、50%RH)で24時間保管し、試片を製造した。その後、製造された試片等の耐湿熱耐久性を評価するために、60℃の温度及び90%RHの相対湿度条件で500時間放置した後、気泡及び剥離の発生有無を評価した。また、耐熱耐久性は90℃及び105℃の温度で500時間放置した後、気泡及び剥離の発生有無を評価しており、試片の状態を評価する直前に、室温で24時間放置した後、評価を実施した。耐湿熱及び耐熱特性の評価基準は下記の通りである。
○:気泡及び剥離現象がない
△:気泡及び/又は剥離現象がやや発生
×:気泡及び/又は剥離現象が多量発生
光透過均一性の評価は、耐久信頼性評価での同じ試片を用いて遂行した。光透過均一性を試験する方法は、粘着層が付着された偏光板を22インチモニター(LG Philips LCD製(韓国))に付着し、恒温恒湿条件で1日間保管し、80℃のオーブンで240時間放置した後、モニターの四角の4辺弁周辺部及び中心部の光透過均一性を評価した。光透過均一性の評価は、分光放射計CS−2000(KONICA MINOLTA製(日本))を用いて、モニター中心部を基準にして上下左右一定の間隔で輝度を測定した後、モニター中心部に対する輝度上昇比を計算して遂行した。このとき、上下または左右の輝度上昇比が大きいほど光漏れ現象が激しく発生された。
離型フィルム(MRF−38、厚さ38ミクロン、Mitsubisi Coropration製(日本))間の粘着剤組成物に紫外線を照射し、粘着層(厚さ:23ミクロン)を製造し、製造された粘着層のヘイズはヘイズメータ(HR−100、Murakam製(日本)を用いて、JIS K 7105−1規格に従って測定した。
離型フィルム(MRF−38、Mitsubisi Coropration製(日本))間の粘着剤組成物に紫外線を照射して粘着剤を製造した後、製造された粘着剤を恒温恒湿条件(23℃及び50%RH)で7日間老化させ、約25μm厚さの粘着剤層を製造した。粘着剤層が形成された離型フィルムを6cm×6cmの大きさに裁断した後、粘着剤を均一に巻いて粘着剤バー(長さ:約6cm、厚さ:約2mm)を製造した。その後、テクスチャーアナライザー(Stable Micro Systems Ltd.製 (イギリス))で、前記粘着剤バーをゴムガスケットで上下のチャックにしっかり固着した後、ゲージ長さを2cmに調節した。次いで、固着された粘着剤バーに120mm/minの引張速度で力を加えながら、長さ増加による応力を測定しており、粘着剤長さが100%増加するときの応力を測定し、粘着剤モジュラス(Young’s modulus)を計算した。
Claims (18)
- 偏光フィルムまたは偏光素子;及び
前記偏光フィルムまたは偏光素子の一面または両面に形成され、
(A)(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系単量体、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキレンオキシド付加物、及びヒドロキシ基含有単量体を含むアクリル系共重合体であり、前記ヒドロキシ基含有単量体由来のヒドロキシ基及び前記(メタ)アクリル酸アルキレンオキシド付加物由来のアルキレンオキシド基を含有する、アクリル系共重合体、
(B)前記(A)アクリル系共重合体と反応して、架橋構造を形成できる、多官能性イソシアネート系硬化剤;
(D)光開始剤;及び
(C)前記(D)光開始剤と反応して、架橋構造を形成できる、多官能性アクリレート
を含む、粘着剤組成物から形成され、前記(A)アクリル系共重合体と前記(B)硬化剤との反応を通して形成された架橋構造;及び前記(C)多官能性アクリレートと前記(D)光開始剤との反応を通して形成された架橋構造を含む、相互浸透ネットワーク構造が具現されている、粘着層を含む、粘着偏光板。 - 前記(A)アクリル系共重合体の重量平均分子量が1,000,000以上である、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系単量体は、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、n−プロピル(メタ)アクリレート、イソプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、n−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、t−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、sec−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、ペンチル(メタ)アクリレート、2−エチルブチル(メタ)アクリレート、2−エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート、n−オクチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソオクチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソノニル(メタ)アクリレート、ラウリル(メタ)アクリレート、及びテトラデシル(メタ)アクリレートからなる群から選択される一種以上である、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記(メタ)アクリル酸アルキレンオキシド付加物は、アルコキシアルキレングリコール(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、アルコキシジアルキレングリコール(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、アルコキシトリエチレングリコール(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、アルコキシテトラアルキレングリコール(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、フェノキシアルキレングリコール(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、フェノキシジアルキレングリコール(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、フェノキシトリエチレングリコール(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、及びフェノキシテトラアルキレングリコール(メタ)アクリル酸エステルからなる群から選択される一つ以上である、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記ヒドロキシ基含有単量体は、ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、2−ヒドロキシプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、4−ヒドロキシブチル(メタ)アクリレート、6−ヒドロキシヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート、2−ヒドロキシエチレングリコール(メタ)アクリレート、及び2−ヒドロキシプロピレングリコール(メタ)アクリレートからなる群から選択される一つ以上である、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記(B)多官能性イソシアネート系硬化剤は、トリレンジイソシアネート、キシレンジイソシアネート、ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート、テトラメチルキシレンジイソシアネート、ナフタレンジイソシアネート、及びこれらのいずれか一つのポリオールとの反応物からなる群から選択される一つ以上である、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記(B)多官能性イソシアネート系硬化剤は、前記(A)アクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、0.01重量部〜5重量部の量で粘着剤組成物に含まれる、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記(C)多官能性アクリレートは、前記(A)アクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、5重量部〜40重量部の量で粘着剤組成物に含まれる、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記(C)多官能性アクリレートは、3官能性アクリレート、4官能性アクリレート、5官能性アクリレート、及び6官能性アクリレートからなる群から選択される一つ以上である、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記(C)多官能性アクリレートは、分子内に環状構造を含む、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記(D)光開始剤は、前記(C)多官能性アクリレート100重量部に対して、0.01重量部〜20重量部の量で粘着剤組成物に含まれる、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記(D)光開始剤が、ベンゾイン、ベンゾインメチルエーテル、ベンゾインエチルエーテル、ベンゾインイソプロピルエーテル、ベンゾインn−ブチルエーテル、ベンゾインイソブチルエーテル、アセトフェノン、ジメチルアミノアセトフェノン、2,2−ジメトキシ−2−フェニルアセトフェノン、2,2−ジエトキシ−2−フェニルアセトフェノン、2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−1−フェニルプロパン−1−オン、1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン、2−メチル−1−[4−(メチルチオ)フェニル]−2−モルホリノ−プロパン−1−オン、4−(2−ヒドロキシエトキシ)フェニル−2−(ヒドロキシ−2−プロピル)ケトン、ベンゾフェノン、p−フェニルベンゾフェノン、4,4’−ジエチルアミノベンゾフェノン、ジクロロベンゾフェノン、2−メチルアントラキノン、2−エチルアントラキノン、2−t−ブチルアントラキノン、2−アミノアントラキノン、2−メチルチオキサントン、2−エチルチオキサントン、2−クロロチオキサントン、2,4−ジメチルチオキサントン、2,4−ジエチルチオキサントン、ベンジルジメチルケタール、アセトフェノンジメチルケタール、p−ジメチルアミノ安息香酸エステル、オリゴ[2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−1−[4−(1−メチルビニル)フェニル]プロパンノン]及び2,4,6−トリメチルベンゾイル−ジフェニル−ホスフィンオキシドからなる群から選択される一つ以上である、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記粘着剤組成物は、前記(A)アクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、0.01重量部〜1重量部のアセトアセテート基またはβ−シアノアセチル基含有シラン系カップリング剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記粘着剤組成物は、前記(A)アクリル系共重合体100重量部に対して、1重量部〜100重量部の粘着性付与樹脂をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 前記偏光フィルムまたは偏光素子の一面または両面に形成され、セルロース系フィルム、ポリエステル系フィルム、ポリエーテルスルホン系フィルム、及びポリオレフィン系フィルムからなる群から選択される一つ以上リン保護フィルムをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板。
- 請求項1に記載の粘着偏光板が液晶セルの一面または両面に接合されている液晶パネルを含む、液晶表示装置。
