Description
「中空棒材」には、中空長尺部材、チューブ状部材、および手摺り・グリル・グレーチングおよび中空の棒材要素として用いられる類似の金属工作物が含まれる。
「捻り加工」には、中空棒材にその長軸に沿って及ぼされ、該棒材に捻れまたは螺旋状の変形を与える作用または力が含まれる。
「モーメント」または「力のモーメント」とは、棒材に及ぼされ、捻れまたは螺旋状の変形をもたらすものである。
Claims (13)
- 中空長尺部材(10)を長手方向に捻って所望の螺旋形状とする方法であって、
(a)一体形成された連結手段(106,108)を互いに相補的に緊結することで前記中空長尺部材(10)が構成される複数の長尺部品(100,102)を製作する工程と、
(b)前記連結手段(106,108)を用いて前記複数の長尺部品(100,102)を緊結することにより前記中空長尺部材(10)を組み立てる工程と、
(c)組み立てられた前記中空長尺部材(10)を捻ることにより前記所望の螺旋形状とする工程と、
(d)前記中空長尺部材(10)を所望の捻れ状態の前記螺旋形状に維持する補強工程と、を含み、
前記補強工程において、組み立て時に前記中空長尺部材の内部に内部補強構造を構成することを特徴とする前記長尺部品同士を一体に組み立てることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記連結手段(106,108)は、前記捻りに起因する力のモーメントにより制限範囲内で回動可能と成された、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記連結手段(106,108)は、前記長尺部品の各々の連結端部に沿って設けられて連続的な長手方向継手を構成している、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記連結手段は、蝶番を含む実矧ぎ継手、玉継手、旋回継手および単軸継手のいずれか、またはこれらの組合せから選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記長尺部品は、押出し加工、圧延、打抜き加工、プレス加工または曲げ加工のいずれか、またはこれらの組合せで製作される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記中空長尺部材(10)は、該中空長尺部材(10)を相補的に構成する同一形状の一対の長尺部品(100,102)を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記中空長尺部材(10)は、三角形と、長方形・正方形・菱形・平行四辺形を含む四角形と、を包含する多角形、長円形、または楕円形から選択される断面形状を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内部補強構造は、前記長尺部品(100,102)の各々と一体化された相補的な半円筒体(104,105)から成るスリーブ(116)を含み、該半円筒体(104,105)は実矧ぎ継手(110,112)で互いに連結可能である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記スリーブ(116)に棒材(118)を挿入し、前記中空長尺部材の両端部でそれぞれ前記スリーブと前記棒材とを保持ピン(120)で突き通すことにより、前記所望の螺旋形状を解きほぐすことなく維持する工程をさらに有する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記補強工程は、軸方向に沿って複数の補強板(428)を適切な間隔と方向にて取り付けた棒材(426)を設けることにより、前記中空長尺部材の所望の捻れ螺旋形状を内部で支える様にした、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記補強板(428)には、圧延された前記長尺部品のエッジ同士の閉じ目を挿入する切込みが設けられている、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記補強工程は、前記中空長尺部材の両端にそれぞれ端部補強手段を設けることにより前記所望の捻れ螺旋形状を解きほぐすことなく維持する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記端部補強手段は、中空長尺部材の列に沿ってひと続きに設けられている、請求項12に記載の方法。
