Description
また、本発明によれば、抗微生物効果のある物質および/または抗生物質は、繊維内に均質に分配させることができる。この結果、持続性の効果を有する抗微生物効果のある物質および/または抗生物質を徐々に放出することが可能となる。
さらに、繊維の少なくとも一部はナノ繊維の形態である。この形態の不織布は特に軽量で薄く作ることができる。
そして、抗微生物効果のある物質および/または抗生物質が繊維内にナノスケールレベルで存在している。ナノスケール構造は、空間内の少なくとも1つの方向でナノメートルの範囲の寸法を有する任意の形態の領域を意味するものと理解される。この結果、抗微生物効果のある物質および/または抗生物質が高い移動性を獲得する。ナノスケールレベルで存在する抗微生物物質は、同物質が細菌、ウイルス、真菌または胞子と接触したとき特に高い反応性を示す。更に、不織布は有効物質をそれと接触する媒体に対して非常に容易に放出する。この点で不織布は、抗微生物効果のある物質および/または抗生物質に関する高い放出能力によって傑出している。

- ゼラチンを含む繊維原料からなる繊維を含み、前記繊維に抗微生物効果のある物質および/または抗生物質が備えられている不織布であって、前記繊維が回転紡糸法で製造され、前記抗微生物効果のある物質および/または抗生物質が前記繊維中に均質に分配され、
前記繊維の少なくとも一部がナノ繊維の形態であり、
前記抗微生物効果のある物質および/または抗生物質が前記繊維中にナノスケールレベルで存在することを特徴とする不織布。 - 幾つかの繊維が互いに撚り合わせられている、または絡み合っていること、或いは撚り構造を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の不織布。
- 幾つかの繊維が互いに絡み合って1つまたは複数の繊維束を形成することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の不織布。
- 前記繊維が、専ら、ゼラチンまたはゼラチンの誘導体から製造されており、前記繊維中および前記繊維上に抗微生物物質および/または抗生物質が存在することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の不織布。
