Claims (5)
- 基板と、白の領域、赤の領域、緑の領域および青の領域を含むカラーフィルタと、それぞれが白のサブピクセル、赤のサブピクセル、緑のサブピクセルおよび青のサブピクセルを含む少なくとも4つのサブピクセルを有する、複数のピクセルとを備えた半透過型液晶ディスプレイであって、
前記サブピクセルの各々が透過区域および反射区域からなり、前記白のサブピクセルの反射区域は、前記赤のサブピクセル、前記緑のサブピクセルおよび前記青のサブピクセルの各々の反射区域よりも小さく、
前記サブピクセルの透過区域の面積がTにより表され、該サブピクセルの反射区域の面積がRにより表され;前記赤のサブピクセル、前記緑のサブピクセルおよび前記青のサブピクセルの数がNにより表され、前記白のサブピクセルの数がN+1により表され;前記赤の領域、前記緑の領域および前記青の領域の光透過率がniにより表され、前記白の領域の光透過率がnN+1により表され;前記白のサブピクセル、前記赤のサブピクセル、前記緑のサブピクセルおよび前記青のサブピクセルの前記反射区域および前記透過区域の関係が:
- 前記反射区域の各々に形成されたリフレクタをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の半透過型液晶ディスプレイ。
- 前記リフレクタおよび前記基板の間に挟まれた保護層をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項3記載の半透過型液晶ディスプレイ。
- 前記リフレクタおよび前記保護層の間に挟まれた樹脂層をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項4記載の半透過型液晶ディスプレイ。
