Description
Claims (10)
- 第1の物理的状態および第2の物理的状態を有する感知流体を含む検知チューブと、
バルブ装置と、
バルブ装置を作動させるためのバルブ作動アッセンブリと、
を備え、
感知流体は、第1の物理的状態において閾値温度より低く、第2の物理的状態において閾値温度より高く、感知流体は、第1の物理的状態において少なくとも部分的に液体であり、検知チューブ内でシールされ、
バルブ装置は、感知流体の一部が第1の物理的状態から第2の物理的状態へと移行すると開となるように移動可能であり、
検知チューブは、容積が制限されており、かつ感知流体の物理的状態変化の複数のサイクルにわたって再利用可能であり、
バルブ装置は、ピンを備えた作動部分を有するバルブ作動アッセンブリに対応して作動するものであり、該ピンは、感知流体の第1の物理的状態と第2の物理的状態との間の移行による圧力上昇に応じて第1の位置から第2の位置へと移動し、該ピンの第2の位置への移動に応じてバルブ作動アッセンブリが開となるものであって、
検知チューブ内の感知流体の圧力が所定の閾値圧力を超えて上昇すると、バルブ作動アッセンブリにより、火炎抑制剤を放出するようにバルブ装置が作動することを特徴とする火炎検知システム。 - 感知流体は、温度の関数として圧力の変化率が閾値温度を超えると急速に上昇し、前記ピンは、感知流体の一部だけが閾値温度を超えた場合に、バルブ装置が開となるように移動することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火炎検知システム。
- 感知流体が検知チューブ内で第1の物理的状態と第2の物理的状態との間を繰り返し移行することができるように、検知チューブがシールされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火炎検知システム。
- ピンは、感知流体の第2の物理的状態から第1の物理的状態への移行に応じてバルブ装置を閉鎖するように移動可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火炎検知システム。
- 前記ピンは、第1のピンおよび第2のピンを含み、
第1のピンは、感知流体の第1の物理的状態と第2の物理的状態との間の移行に応じて第1の位置から第2の位置へと移動可能であり、第1のピンの第1の端部は、感知流体と接触し、第2の端部は、第1の付勢部材と接触し、第1のピンは、該ピンの長手方向の軸と直交するチャネルを有し、
第2のピンは、第1のピンの長手方向の軸と直交するように延在しており、第2のピンの第1の端部は、第1のピンと接触し、第2の端部は、第2の付勢部材と接触し、第1のピンが第2の位置にあるときに第2のピンは第1のピンのチャネルを通って延びることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火炎検知システム。 - バルブ装置に取付けられた火炎抑制剤のコンテナと、
バルブ装置に取付けられた火炎抑制剤分配チャネルと、
をさらに備え、
火炎抑制剤分配チャネルは、前記コンテナからバルブ装置を通って流れる火炎抑制剤を受けることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火炎検知システム。 - 感知流体の第2の物理的状態における温度に対する圧力変化率は、感知流体の第1の物理的状態における温度に対する圧力変化率より高いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火炎検知システム。
- 閾値温度は、感知流体あるいは感知流体の要素の臨界温度であり、
感知流体は、第1の物理的状態において、臨界温度より低く、第2の物理的状態において、臨界温度より高いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火炎検知システム。 - 第1の物理的状態において、ガスが感知流体に溶解し、第2の物理的状態において、ガスが感知流体から抽出されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火炎検知システム。
- 検知チューブは、ステンレス鋼、銅、黄銅あるいはアルミニウムの少なくとも1つからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火炎検知システム。
