Claims (5)
- 励起光を発生するレーザ光源と、
前記励起光により蛍光を発生する蛍光体と、
一端に入射された前記励起光を他端より前記蛍光体へ向けて出射し、前記蛍光体にて発生した蛍光を前記一端より出射するライトトンネルと、
前記レーザ光源と前記ライトトンネルとの光路中に設けられ、前記励起光を反射し、前記蛍光を通過させる光学素子と、を備え、
前記光学素子は、前記励起光を反射する反射部と、前記蛍光を通過する通過部からなる、照明光学系。 - 請求項1に記載の照明光学系において、
前記蛍光体は、それぞれ異なる波長の蛍光を発生する複数の蛍光領域を備え、回転により前記ライトトンネルより照射される位置が各蛍光領域上を移動する蛍光ホイールであることを特徴とする照明光学系。 - 請求項1に記載の照明光学系のユニットを複数備え、
各ユニットの蛍光体はそれぞれ異なる波長の蛍光を発生し、
各ユニットの出射光を入射して同じ方向に向けて出射するクロスダイクロイックプリズムを有することを特徴とする照明光学系。 - 請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれかに記載の照明光学系において、
前記蛍光体の反ライトトンネル側から励起光を前記蛍光体に向けて照射する第2のレーザ光源を具備し、
前記蛍光体は前記第2のレーザ光源側に設けられ、前記励起光を通過させ、前記蛍光を反射する反射層と、ライトトンネル側に設けられた蛍光体層とを有することを特徴とする照明光学系。 - 請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれかに記載の照明光学系を備えたプロジェクタ。
