Description
上で調製した感光体の電気的性能特性、例えば、電子写真感度および短時間サイクル安定性などをスキャナで試験した。そのスキャナは当業界では既知であり、それが電気的に帯電および放電する間にドラムを回転させる手段を備えている。光導電体試料上の電荷は、そのデバイスの周囲を取り巻く正確な位置に配置されている静電プローブを使用して測定する。その感光体デバイスは、500ボルトの負電位に帯電させる。デバイスの回転時に、最初の帯電電位を電圧プローブ1により測定する。次に、その光導電体試料を既知の強度の単色光にさらし、電圧プローブ2および3により表面電位を測定する。最後に、その試料を適当な強度と波長の消去ランプにさらし、電圧プローブ4により残留電位を測定する。このプロセスをそのスキャナのコンピュータの制御の下で反復し、データをそのコンピュータに保存する。該PIDC(光放電曲線)は、光エネルギの関数として電圧プローブ2および3における電位をプロットすることによって得られる。自己修復性上塗り層を有する感光体は、コントロールまたは比較例のデバイスと対比できるPIDC特性を示した。
Claims (3)
- ポリオールバインダと、メラミン−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂と、光導電性成分と、ナノカプセルまたはマイクロカプセル中にカプセル化されている修復材料と、触媒とを含む組成物から熱硬化により形成された自己修復性複合材料コーティングを有し、
前記修復材料は、前記カプセルが破裂すると、光導電性部材の物理的損傷を補修することができることを特徴とする光導電性部材。 - 基材、下塗り層、電荷発生層、電荷輸送層、および保護上塗り層を含む光導電性部材であって、
前記保護上塗り層が、ポリオールバインダと、メラミン−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂と、光導電性成分と、ナノカプセルまたはマイクロカプセル中にカプセル化されている修復材料と、触媒とを含む組成物から熱硬化により形成されたものであり、
前記修復材料は、前記カプセルが破裂すると、光導電性部材の物理的損傷を補修することができることを特徴とする光導電性部材。 - 帯電デバイスと、トナー現像デバイスと、クリーニングデバイスと、導電性基材、電荷発生層、電荷輸送層、および上塗り層を含む感光体とを含む画像形成装置であって、
前記上塗り層が、ポリオールバインダと、メラミン−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂と、光導電性成分と、ナノカプセルまたはマイクロカプセル中にカプセル化されている修復材料と、触媒を含有する組成物から熱硬化により形成されたものであり、
前記修復材料は、前記カプセルが破裂すると、感光体の物理的損傷を補修することができることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
