Description
(実施例)
ステンレス鋼表面をPIII照射によって処理して、多孔質表面を形成する。前記処理はローゼンドルフ リサーチ センター(Rossendorf Research Center)の大型チャンバーで行われる。(ゲウンゼル(Geunzel)、Surface & Coating Technology、136、47〜50頁、2001年およびJ.Vacuum Science & Techn.B、17(2)、895〜899頁、1999年)。操作条件は、下記の表に示す。
さらなる実施形態は以下の特許請求の範囲内に存する。
Claims (12)
- ステントであって、
金属から形成されたステント本体と、
ステントの内腔から離れた側の面のみに、ステント本体の一体表面部分として形成され、かつ、薬剤を含む多孔質金属表面領域と、
ステント本体の内腔から離れた側の面、内腔面および切断面表面上において、多孔性のセラミックおよび金属のいずれか一方から形成され、かつ、多孔質金属表面領域を覆うように配置される層とを備え、
前記層は、多孔質金属表面領域よりも小さい細孔を有することを特徴とするステント。 - 前記多孔質金属表面領域のボイド容積対金属容積の比は1:2以上である、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記多孔質金属表面領域は、0.1〜5マイクロメートルの径を有する複数の空洞を有する、請求項1または2に記載のステント。
- 前記層の細孔径は、1〜20nmである、請求項1−3のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
- 前記薬剤の密度は、0.5μg/mm2以上である、請求項1−4のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
- 前記層の厚さは、前記多孔質金属表面領域の厚さよりも薄い、請求項1−5のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
- 前記層の厚さは、10〜500nmである、請求項6に記載のステント。
- 前記多孔質金属表面領域の厚さは、0.1〜3マイクロメートルである、請求項6に記載のステント。
- 前記多孔質金属表面領域は、ステンレス鋼から形成されている、請求項1−8のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
- 前記層は、ステンレス鋼から形成されている、請求項1−9のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
- 前記多孔質金属表面領域および層は、ポリマーを含まない薬物送達システムを形成する、請求項1−10のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
- 前記セラミックは、酸化イリジウム(IROX)である、請求項1−9のいずれか一項に記載のステント。
