図1において、LUT部2を映像信号処理部1の後に配置した構成例を示したが、LUT部2は、映像信号処理部1の前に配置してもよいし、映像信号処理部1や、表示部6に内蔵されていてもよい。
また、本実施形態において、周辺光により、画面輝度が上昇する場合にバックライト7を輝度低下させる場合を例に説明したが、同様に、周辺光により、画面輝度が下降する場合にも、周辺光のレベルと輝度上昇分と対応付けたテーブルをLUT部2が備え、表示部の輝度を上昇させることにより適用可能である。
Claims (2)
- 映像信号のビデオレベルを入力とし、DICOMガンマ特性に準ずる輝度値と入力輝度値とを対応付けたテーブルに基づき変換して出力する変換部と、
前記変換部により変換された映像信号を表示する表示部と、
前記表示部の前面における周囲光の明るさを検出する照度検出部と、
前記照度検出部により検出される周囲光の明るさの上昇分に応じて、前記表示部の画面輝度を低下させる画面輝度制御部と、
前記表示部の画面輝度の低下分と前記周囲光の明るさの上昇分とに応じて前記表示部の黒輝度を補正し、前記表示部の白輝度と補正後の黒輝度とに基づき、前記DICOMガンマ特性を得るように前記変換テーブルの内容を更新する更新部と
を具備するグレースケール表示装置。 - 変換部が、映像信号の輝度を入力とし、DICOMガンマ特性に準ずる輝度値と入力輝度値とを対応付けたテーブルに基づき変換する過程と、
表示部が、変換した映像信号を表示部が表示する過程と、
照度検出部が、前記表示部の前面における周囲光の明るさを検出する過程と、
画面輝度制御部が、前記検出した周囲光の明るさの上昇分に応じて、前記表示部の画面輝度を低下させる過程と、
更新部が、前記表示部の画面輝度の低下分と前記周囲光の明るさの上昇分とに応じて前記表示部の黒輝度を補正し、前記表示部の白輝度と補正後の黒輝度とに基づき、前記DICOMガンマ特性を得るように前記テーブルの内容を更新する更新過程と
を有するグレースケール表示方法。
