Description
(1)種々の留分を生じる、前記炭化水素仕込原料の前蒸留(または分別)。この蒸留は、前記仕込原料の種類および特性に応じて温度一般に120〜500℃の範囲において行われる。
(a)水素の存在下に重質留分を触媒と接触させることを含む第1工程。この工程は、特に水銀の有機金属化合物を変換すること、換言すれば水銀(場合によってはヒ素)を活性化させることを目的とする。有利には、例えば米国特許US−4911825に記載されている本出願人の方法に応じて操作がなされてよい。この米国特許方法は、水素の存在下に仕込原料を、ニッケル、コバルト、鉄およびパラジウムからなる群の少なくとも1つの金属を含む触媒と接触させることからなる。水銀は、触媒によって捕集されない(または非常にわずかに捕集される)が、該水銀は、下記に記載される第2工程において、例えば硫黄または硫黄含有化合物を含む物質によって捕集されるように、該触媒上で活性化される。
蒸留される仕込原料は、水銀およびヒ素の含有量各々500ppbおよび200ppbと、(水銀1〜5重量%を含む)スラッジの含有量2000ppmとを含む凝縮物であった。仕込原料を、5つの留分に蒸留した。水銀およびヒ素の分布を、図1および図2の2つのグラフに示す。図中、PI:初留点。
次の実施例では、実施例1の方法に従って、水銀のみを含み、その含有量1500ppbを有する別の凝縮物を蒸留した。種々の留分中の水銀分布を図3に示す。
Claims (7)
- (1)100℃未満の沸点を有する少なくとも1つの軽質留分および100℃以上の沸点を有する少なくとも1つの重質留分を得るように炭化水素仕込原料を蒸留することと、
(2)少なくとも1つの前記重質留分を、次の2工程:すなわち
・重質留分を水素および触媒と接触させる第1工程、並びに
・第1工程からの流出物を、水銀およびヒ素の捕集物質上に通過させることからなる第2工程を含む処理に付すことと、
水銀およびヒ素の捕集物質上に、上記蒸留から来る少なくとも1つの軽質留分を通過させることと、
を含む炭化水素仕込原料中の水銀およびヒ素の除去方法。
- 前記第1工程において、触媒が、ニッケル、コバルト、鉄およびパラジウムからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つの金属を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第2工程において、捕集物質が、硫黄および/または少なくとも1つの硫黄含有化合物を含む、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記捕集物質が、担体に担持された少なくとも1つの金属硫化物を含む、請求項3記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの軽質留分がその上を通過させられる捕集物質が、硫黄および/または少なくとも1つの硫黄含有化合物を含む、請求項1〜3のうちのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記捕集物質が、担体に担持された少なくとも1つの金属硫化物を含む、請求項5記載の方法。
- 蒸留が、120〜500℃で行われる、請求項1〜6のうちのいずれか1項記載の方法。
