Description
内燃機関の排気通路に設けられ排気の状態を検出する検出手段と、
前記排気通路内に添加剤を添加する添加手段と、
前記検出手段及び前記添加手段よりも下流側に設けられ該添加手段から添加剤の供給を受ける触媒と、
前記添加手段から添加される添加剤により前記検出手段の検出精度が低下するか否かを判定する判定手段と、
前記判定手段により前記検出手段の検出精度が低下すると判定される場合に、前記検出手段による排気の状態の検出を停止させる停止手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする。
前記停止手段により前記検出手段による排気の状態の検出が停止されている場合には、前記検出手段による排気の状態の検出に代えて、前記推定手段による排気の状態の推定を行なうことができる。
内燃機関の排気の状態を検出するときに、触媒へ添加する添加剤が存在することで排気の状態の検出精度が低下するか否かを判定する第1の工程と、
排気の状態の検出精度が低下すると判定される場合には排気の状態の検出を停止させる第2の工程と、
を含んで構成されることを特徴とする。

Claims (6)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられ排気の状態を検出する検出手段と、
前記排気通路内に添加剤を添加する添加手段と、
前記検出手段及び前記添加手段よりも下流側に設けられ該添加手段から添加剤の供給を受ける触媒と、
前記添加手段から添加される添加剤により前記検出手段の検出精度が低下するか否かを判定する判定手段と、
前記判定手段により前記検出手段の検出精度が低下すると判定される場合に、前記検出手段による排気の状態の検出を停止させる停止手段と、
を備え、
前記触媒は排気を選択的に還元する選択還元型NOx触媒を含んで構成され、前記検出
手段は排気中のNOx濃度を検出するNOxセンサを含んで構成され、前記添加手段はアンモニア由来の還元剤を添加することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記判定手段は、前記添加手段により添加剤が添加されているときに、前記検出手段の検出精度が低下すると判定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 内燃機関の運転状態に基づいて該内燃機関の排気の状態を推定する推定手段を備え、
前記停止手段により前記検出手段による排気の状態の検出が停止されている場合には、前記検出手段による排気の状態の検出に代えて、前記推定手段による排気の状態の推定を行なうことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 内燃機関の排気中のNOx濃度を検出するときに、触媒へ添加する添加剤が存在することで排気中のNOx濃度の検出精度が低下するか否かを判定する第1の工程と、
排気中のNOx濃度の検出精度が低下すると判定される場合には排気中のNOx濃度の検出を停止させる第2の工程と、
を含んで構成され、
前記触媒は排気を選択的に還元する選択還元型NOx触媒を含んで構成され、前記添加
剤はアンモニア由来の還元剤であることを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化方法。 - 前記第1の工程では、添加剤が添加されているときに、排気中のNOx濃度の検出精度が低下すると判定することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化方法。
- 前記第2の工程において排気中のNOx濃度の検出が停止されている場合には、排気中のNOx濃度の検出に代えて、排気中のNOx濃度の推定を行なう第3の工程を含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化方法。
