Description
近年、ポータブル電子デバイス(例えばタッチ電話、パーソナル携帯情報機器(PDA)及び携帯電話)の分野の研究は、著しい発展を遂げている。通常、携帯型電子デバイスは、種々のアプリケーションをユーザに提供する。
例えば、ユーザが、ブラウザを起動してニュースを読みたいと欲する場合、プログラムファイルを起動させ、ブラウザフォルダを開き、ブラウザアプリケーションをロードし、ブラウザアプリケーションをクリックし、そして、ニュースのウェブページを検索することを含む手順が要求される。これらの上記手順は、ユーザにとって退屈であり、不便である。したがって、この業界においては、ポータブル電子デバイスを使用するための利便性を増加させる必要性が存在する。
Claims (11)
- ポータブル電子デバイスのロックスクリーン上でショートカットを提供するための制御方法であって、
前記ポータブル電子デバイス上にインストールされた複数のアプリケーションの実行履歴を表すアプリケーション使用履歴を記憶するステップであって、前記アプリケーション使用履歴は、前記アプリケーションに関連する少なくとも1つの予め定められたイベントの時刻情報及び位置情報の少なくとも1つを含み、前記予め定められたイベントは、バックグラウンドにおける実行からフォアグラウンドにおける実行に切替えられるイベントを含む、ステップと;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスの現在時刻及び現在位置の少なくとも1つを取得するステップと;
前記アプリケーション使用履歴、及び前記現在時刻及び前記現在位置の少なくとも1つに従って、前記複数のアプリケーションから、実行の要求がなされる最も可能性の高いアプリケーションを選択するステップと;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスの前記ロックスクリーン上に、前記選択されたアプリケーションを起動させるために使用されるショートカットアイコンを表示するステップと;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスが前記ショートカットアイコンを介して前記ロックスクリーンからアンロックされたときに、前記選択されたアプリケーションを起動させるステップと;
を有する制御方法。 - 前記アプリケーション使用履歴、及び前記現在時刻及び前記現在位置の少なくとも1つに従って、前記複数のアプリケーションから、実行の要求がなされる最も可能性の高いアプリケーションを選択するステップは:
前記アプリケーション使用履歴、及び前記現在時刻及び前記現在位置の少なくとも1つに従って、前記アプリケーションのための実行確率を生成するステップと;
前記複数のアプリケーションから、実行が要求される最も可能性の高い前記アプリケーションとして、実行確率の高い前記アプリケーションを選択するステップと、
を含む、請求項1記載の制御方法。 - 前記アプリケーション使用履歴は、予め定められた期間の間に記録される、請求項1記載の制御方法。
- 前記予め定められたイベントは、アプリケーションが起動されるイベント;アプリケーションが起動するイベント及び前記アプリケーションを終了させる他のイベント;及びアプリケーションが使用中であるイベント;の少なくとも1つ、又は、それらの組合せを有する、
請求項3記載の制御方法。 - 前記ポータブル電子デバイスが前記ショートカットアイコンを介して前記ロックスクリーンからアンロックされたときに、前記選択されたアプリケーションを起動させるステップは:
前記ポータブル電子デバイスで、セキュリティ検証手順を実行するステップと;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスでの前記セキュリティ検証手順がパスしたときに、前記選択されたアプリケーションを起動させるステップと;
を含み、
前記ポータブル電子デバイスの現在位置は、前記ポータブル電子デバイスの前記位置に対応するセル識別(Cell−ID)の情報、グローバル・ポジショニング・システムの位置情報、及びワイヤレス・アクセスポイントのアドレス情報、の少なくとも1つの情報を含む、
請求項1記載の制御方法。 - ポータブル電子デバイス上にインストールされた複数のアプリケーションの実行履歴を表すアプリケーション使用履歴を記憶するために使用される記憶ユニットであって、前記アプリケーション使用履歴は、前記アプリケーションに関連する少なくとも1つの予め定められたイベントの時刻情報及び位置情報の少なくとも1つを含み、前記予め定められたイベントは、バックグラウンドにおける実行からフォアグラウンドにおける実行に切替えられるイベントを含む、記憶ユニットと;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスの現在時刻及び現在位置の少なくとも1つを取得するために使用される検出ユニットと;
前記複数のアプリケーションから、前記アプリケーション使用履歴、及び前記現在時刻及び前記現在位置の少なくとも1つに従って、実行要求のために最も可能性の高いアプリケーションを選択するための制御ユニットであって、前記制御ユニットは、更に、ロックスクリーン上の前記選択されたアプリケーションを起動させるために使用されるショートカットアイコンを表示するために使用され、かつ、更に、前記ポータブル電子デバイスが前記ショートカットアイコンを介して前記ロックスクリーンからアンロックされたとき、前記選択されたアプリケーションを起動させるために使用される前記ポータブル電子デバイスを制御するために使用される、制御ユニットと;
を有する、ポータブル電子デバイス。 - 前記制御ユニットが、前記アプリケーション使用履歴、及び前記現在時刻及び前記現在位置の少なくとも1つに従って、前記アプリケーションのための実行確率を生成し、かつ、実行要求されるために最も可能性の高い前記アプリケーションとして最も高い実行確率を持つ前記アプリケーションを前記複数のアプリケーションから選択する、
請求項6記載のポータブル電子デバイス。 - 前記アプリケーション使用履歴は、予め定められた期間の間に記録される、請求項7記載のポータブル電子デバイス。
- 前記予め定められた少なくとも1つのイベントは、アプリケーションが起動するイベント;アプリケーションが起動するイベント及び前記アプリケーションを終了させる他のイベント;及びアプリケーションが使用中であるイベント;の少なくとも1つ、又はこれらの組合せを有する、請求項8記載のポータブル電子デバイス。
- 前記ポータブル電子デバイスがショートカットアイコンを介して前記ロックスクリーンからアンロックされたとき、前記ポータブル電子デバイスは、セキュリティ検証手順を実行し、かつ、前記ポータブル電子デバイスの前記セキュリティ検証がパスしたとき、前記選択されたアプリケーションを起動させ;
前記検出ユニットが:
前記ポータブル電子デバイスの前記現在位置として、セル識別(Cell−ID)情報を提供するために使用される、セル識別(Cell−ID)検出器と;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスの前記現在位置としてGPS位置情報を提供するために使用されるグローバル・ポジショニング・システム(GPS)と;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスの前記現在位置としてワイヤレス・アクセスポイントのアドレス情報を提供するために使用されるワイヤレス・ネットワーク・コネクタと;
の少なくとも1つ、又はこれらの組合せを有する、請求項6記載のポータブル電子デバイス。 - ポータブル電子デバイス上にインストールされた複数のアプリケーションの実行履歴を表すアプリケーション使用履歴を記憶するステップであって、前記アプリケーション使用履歴は、前記アプリケーションに関連する少なくとも1つの予め定められたイベントの時刻情報及び位置情報の少なくとも1つを含み、前記予め定められたイベントは、バックグラウンドにおける実行からフォアグラウンドにおける実行に切替えられるイベントを含む、ステップと;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスの現在時刻及び現在位置の少なくとも1つを取得するステップと;
前記アプリケーション使用履歴、及び前記現在時刻及び前記現在位置の少なくとも1つに従って、前記複数のアプリケーションから、実行の要求がなされる最も可能性の高いアプリケーションを選択するステップと;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスのロックスクリーン上に、前記選択されたアプリケーションを起動させるために使用されるショートカットアイコンを表示するステップと;
前記ポータブル電子デバイスが前記ショートカットアイコンを介して前記ロックスクリーンからアンロックされたときに、前記選択されたアプリケーションを起動させるステップと;
をコンピュータに実行させるプログラム。
