Claims (7)
- 共通の中心周りの想像上の視野円上に配置した少なくとも4つのミラーのセットと、
複数の画像センサペアのアレイであって、各々の前記画像センサペアは、前記複数のミラーのうちの1つに面し、それぞれの前記ミラーによって画像化されたシーンの一部の左右方向からの光線をそれぞれ記録する左右画像センサを含む、複数の画像センサペアのアレイと、
前記画像センサペアのそれぞれの左画像センサのそれぞれからの複数の左画像をモザイク処理し、前記画像センサペアのそれぞれの右画像センサのそれぞれからの複数の右画像をモザイク処理することによって、左右のパノラマ画像を生成する立体パノラマモザイク画像生成器とを備えたことを特徴とする立体パノラマ画像生成システム。 - 前記光線は、想像上の視野円の接線方向に投射されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の立体パノラマ画像生成システム。
- 各々の前記ミラーは、前記複数のミラーの他方に面していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の立体パノラマ画像生成システム。
- 前記複数の画像センサペアのうちの各一つは、八角形の別々の辺に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の立体パノラマ画像生成システム。
- 前記ミラーは湾曲ミラーであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の立体パノラマ画像生成システム。
- 前記ミラーは湾曲反射表面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の立体パノラマ画像生成システム。
- ミラーを支持する支持部と、前記ミラーに面する左右の画像センサを含み、前記ミラーにより画像化されるシーンの一部の左右方向からの光線をそれぞれ記録する画像センサのペアとを配置するステップと、
想像上の視野円に沿って前記ミラーが移動するように前記支持部を回転するステップと、
前記回転の間、それぞれの左画像センサからの複数の左画像を記録するとともに、それぞれの右画像センサからの複数の右画像を記録するステップと、
前記複数の左画像をモザイク処理することによって左のパノラマ画像を生成するステップと、
前記複数の右画像をモザイク処理することによって右のパノラマ画像を生成するステップとを含むことを特徴とする立体パノラマ画像生成方法。
