Description
石灰石と、砂と、水とのプレブレンドを調製する。その間に、かなりの熱が放出される。その際、生成物は、様々な量のケイ酸カルシウムと、ことによると未反応の砂及び/又は消石灰を含有する。SILRES(登録商標)BS1321を、石灰石と砂の前記プレブレンドへと、着色顔料及び十分な量の水と一緒に添加して、該材料が成形型内で取り扱い可能な未焼結成形体ブロックを製造するために圧縮できることを保証する。圧縮前に、それらの成分をミキサー中で、約4〜6分にわたりブレンドする。ブロックを作製したら、そのブロックを、ほぼ9時間にわたり、163〜177摂氏度の温度及び125psiの圧力でオートクレーブ処理に供する。疎水性シリコーン樹脂の最適な添加量は、0.05〜1.5質量%で変動する。最適な特性は、3.6lbsのシリコーン樹脂を4000lbsの珪酸カルシウムについて用いた場合に達成された。
所望の量のSILRES(登録商標)BS1321を、繊維セメントスラリーの質量に対して、例えばセルロース繊維、フライアッシュ、炭酸カルシウム及びセメントのスラリーに対して、20〜23質量%の水中の固体のコンシステンシーで添加し、約15分にわたり混合する。該セメントスラリーを水で7質量%の固形分にまで希釈する。該希釈されたスラリーに、アニオン系のポリマー凝集助剤と消泡剤を添加して繊維セメント固体を生成させる。該繊維セメントを、形成し、圧縮し、約8〜9時間にわたり100%の湿度で62摂氏度の温度で、乾燥させて、例えばシート状の成形体とする。乾燥させたら、該繊維セメントシートを、全体で9時間にわたり、100〜150psiの圧力及び148〜177摂氏度の温度でオートクレーブ処理に供する。樹脂使用量は、繊維セメント製造によって要求される物理性能と水性能のレベルに応じて0.01〜2質量%で変動しうる。
無機硬化性マトリクスの形成のために、砂をコンベアに載置して、そこに水を添加する。シリカと石灰石を追加の水とともに添加する。該材料マトリクスを80トン反応器に入れて、10時間の期間にわたり石灰石を水和させる。瞬間的なマトリクス形成プロセスは、アルカリ性の性質を与えてよく、事実上の熱量は、また並行して生成することもある。このアルカリ性前混合工程の後に、疎水性シリコーン樹脂は、以下に詳細に説明するように添加される。
1) 試験体を、強制通風炉中で数日にわたって妥当な温度で乾燥させて、すべての湿分を除去する。この場合に、試験体は、週末の間50摂氏度の炉内に置く。
2) 試験体を炉から取り出し、室温に戻し、1/2インチの水を有するトレイに入れる。この1/2インチの水準を4.5時間にわたり室温で保持した。そして該トレイを次いで、約20時間にわたり0〜−20摂氏度で凍結チャンバ中に入れる。
3) そのトレイを取り出し、室温の水の融解タンク中で4.5時間にわたり置く。トレイ中の水準を1/2インチで凍結/融解サイクルの間保持する。トレイを融解タンクから取り出し、20.5時間にわたりフリーザーに戻し、こうしてもう一度凍結融解サイクルを開始する。該トレイは、融解タンクに完全に浸されておらず、ただ該トレイの側部を温めるのに十分に浸されている。
4) 通常の週間労働時間にわたる最後の凍結/融解サイクルの後に、試験体を水のトレイから取り出し、均等な乾燥を促進するためにワイヤラック上で室温で68時間にわたり貯蔵する。空気乾燥後に、試験体を剛性ブラシでブラッシングして、全ての緩い材料を除去する。
5) 4回の凍結/融解イベントで1"サイクル"を構成する。1サイクルの完了後に、1グループにつき2つの試験体ブロックを、圧縮強度について試験し、このプロセスを3サイクルにわたり継続する。記録されたデータを第I表にまとめる。負荷量は、4000lbsの全石材製品あたり3.6lbsのシリコーン樹脂と、4000lbsの全石材製品あたり10lbsのシリコーン樹脂と、4000lbsの全石材製品あたり20lbsのシリコーン樹脂である。
繊維強化されたコンクリート混合物は、砂、骨材、ポルトランドセメント及び約2質量%のセルロース繊維から形成される。該混合物中に、0.1質量%のシリコーン樹脂が粒子形状でドライブレンドされる。十分な量の水を添加することで、流体混合物を形成し、それを流し込みで約0.8cm厚のシートとし、硬化させる。そのシートを、次いで5時間にわたりオートクレーブ処理して、均一に疎水性の無機マトリクスシートを作製する。
実施例4の方法に従うが、但し、シリコーン樹脂は乾式成分中にドライブレンドせずに、流体混合物の形成に必要な水の全てもしくは一部中の固体樹脂粒子の分散液としてそれを添加する。
軽量セメント製品は、慣用の原材料混合物からフライアッシュを取り込むことで製造して、硬化された製品を多孔質かつ軽量にする。乾式成分中に、0.2質量%の固形分、特にシリコーン樹脂をブレンドし、そして水を添加し、徹底的に混合して、液状の流し込み可能な製品を作製する。硬化可能な混合物を、付形されたブロック成形型中に注入し、硬化させ、次いで6時間にわたりオートクレーブ処理する。均一に疎水性の軽量セメントブロックが得られる。
前記の実施例の工程に従うが、フライアッシュの量を低減もしくは排除する。空気を前記の流体の硬化性混合物中に激しく混入させ、次いで流し込みをしてブロックとする。該ブロックを、次いで5時間にわたりオートクレーブ処理して、多くの空気充填された細孔を含む均一に疎水性のブロックを作製する。
Claims (10)
- 高められた不透水性を有する無機マトリクス建築材料であって、無機硬化性マトリクスと少なくとも1種の疎水性シリコーン樹脂とを含有し、前記樹脂は、前記無機硬化性マトリクス内で実質的に均一に取り込まれており、こうして高められた不透水性が無機硬化性マトリクスを通じて実現されている無機マトリクス建築材料において、前記疎水性シリコーン樹脂は、TD樹脂であり、微細粉末形状または離散した粒子形状から選択され、かつバインダーで前処理されておらず、かつ前記建築材料が、高められた圧力下および前記疎水性シリコーン樹脂の融点より高い温度でオートクレーブ処理されている無機マトリクス建築材料。
- 疎水性シリコーン樹脂が、少なくとも1つのシラノール基、アルコキシ基もしくはそれらの組み合わせを有する、請求項1に記載の無機マトリクス建築材料。
- 無機硬化性マトリクスが、繊維強化されたセメント板、繊維強化されたセメントシートもしくはオートクレーブ気泡コンクリートの形成用の成分を含有する、請求項1に記載の無機マトリクス建築材料。
- 疎水性シリコーン樹脂が、建築材料の全質量に対して、0.1〜2質量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の無機マトリクス建築材料。
- 無機硬化性マトリクスが、珪酸カルシウムを含有する、請求項1に記載の無機マトリクス建築材料。
- 高められた不透水性を有する無機マトリクス建築材料の製造方法において:
a)少なくとも1種の疎水性シリコーン樹脂と無機硬化性マトリクスとを混合して、硬化可能な混合物を形成させる工程、
その際、前記少なくとも1種の疎水性シリコーン樹脂は、TD樹脂であり、微細粉末形状または離散した粒子形状から選択され、かつバインダーで前処理されていない、
b)前記硬化可能な混合物を成形体へと変形させる工程、
c)前記硬化可能な混合物を硬化させる工程、
その際、硬化工程をオートクレーブ中で実施し、こうして成形体が加熱しつつ高められた圧力下でオートクレーブ処理され、均一に疎水性の無機マトリクス建築材料製品が形成され、かつ前記建築材料が、高められた圧力下および前記疎水性シリコーン樹脂の融点より高い温度でオートクレーブ処理されている、
を含む無機マトリクス建築材料の製造方法。 - 無機硬化性マトリクスが、繊維強化されたセメント板、繊維強化されたセメントシートもしくはオートクレーブ気泡コンクリートの形成用の成分を含有する、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 無機硬化性マトリクスが珪酸カルシウムを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 混合工程が、更に、着色顔料、空気混和剤、シリコーン樹脂以外の補助疎水化剤及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される添加剤を混合することを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 成形体が未焼結成形体である、請求項6に記載の方法。
