印刷されたePTFE及び金属化されたePTFEを備える構造体のサンプルを、以下の方法で作成した。
以下の例外を除いて、実質的に実施例1に従って構造体のサンプルを作成した。
金属コーティングにより連結した、カーボンコーティングしたePTFEの2つの層を備える構造体のサンプルを、以下の方法により作成した。
ポリプロピレン及び金属を有する構造体のサンプルを以下の方法により作成した。
金属化されたポリウレタンの構造体のサンプルを以下の方法で作成した。
ポリエチレンフィルムとアルミニウムホイルを備える構造体のサンプルを以下の方法で作成した。
以下の例外を除いて、実質的に実施例5に従って構造体のサンプルを作成した。不連続のポリウレタン接着剤の代わりに、Super77(商標)多用途接着剤(3M社)の連続コーティングを用いて、第一部分及び第二部分を共に結合した。また布地裏当てを省略した。
ポリウレタンフィルムを1.5milのポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)フィルムに換えて、実質的に実施例8に従って構造体のサンプルを作成した。金属化されていない側から放射率を測定し、そして熱線反射層についてその値を表1に示した。
ePTFE及び金属化されたePTFEを備える構造体のサンプルを、以下の方法で作成した。
カーボンコーティングされたePTFE及び金属化されたポリエステルを備える構造体のサンプルを、以下の方法で作成した。
この実施例に従って作成した構造体のサンプルについての、第一部分側から測定したマルチスペクトルでのテストの結果を測定し、そして表1並びに図9、図10及び図11に示した。表1に示したように、この構造体は、約10%の可視光反射率、約15%のnIR反射率、約44%のMWIR反射率、且つ約61%のLWIR反射率を有していた。
Claims (46)
- 前面及び背面;
3μm〜5μm及び9μm〜12μmにおける平均透過率が30%超であり、かつ475nm〜675nmの間の光学密度が0.30超である、着色剤を有するポリマー層を備える熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材であって、構造体の前面に近接した第一表面及び第二表面を有する、熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材;及び
上記基材の第二表面に隣接している、0.75未満の放射率の低放射率部分を有する熱線反射層であって、上記構造体の背面に隣接している熱線反射層
を有する構造体であって、上記構造体の前面から測定されている下記の平均反射率を有する構造体:
i)波長範囲400nm〜600nmにおいて、70%未満、
ii)波長範囲700nm〜1000nmにおいて、70%未満、
iii)波長範囲3μm〜5μmにおいて、25%超、且つ
iv)波長範囲9μm〜12μmにおいて、25%超。 - 上記熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材の第一表面が、上記構造体の前面である、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記着色剤が、コーティングである、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記着色剤が、上記第一表面に配置されたコーティングである、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記着色剤が、フィラーである、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記ポリマー層が、微孔質フィルムである、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記微孔質フィルムが、PTFEを有する、請求項6に記載の構造体。
- 上記ポリマー層が、ポリエチレンを有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記ポリマー層が、ポリプロピレンを有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記ポリマー層が、一以上の着色剤を有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記構造体が、nIR用添加剤を含む、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記熱線反射層が、0.5未満の放射率をもつ、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記熱線反射層が、金属を有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記低放射率部分が、アルミニウムを有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記熱線反射層が、0.5未満の放射率を有するコーティングを備える、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記コーティングが、熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材の第二表面上にある、請求項15に記載の構造体。
- 上記低放射率部分が、金属ホイルである、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記熱線反射層が、さらに0.75未満の放射率の低放射率部分を有する布地である、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記熱線反射層が、0.75未満の放射率の複数の低放射率部分のパターンを有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 接着層によって、上記熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材が上記熱線反射層の上記低放射率表面に固定されている、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材が、5μm〜300μmの厚みを有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 波長範囲400nm〜600nmにおいて、50%未満の平均反射率を有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 波長範囲700nm〜1000nmにおいて、50%未満の平均反射率を有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 波長範囲9μm〜12μmにおいて、35%超の平均反射率を有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記構造体が、積層体である、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 上記構造体が、熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材の反対側にある、熱線反射層と隣接した布地層をさらに含む、請求項25に記載の構造体。
- MVTRが、1,000g/m2/24h超である、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 成型した物品の形態で提供される、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- さらに絶縁部を有する、請求項1に記載の構造体を具備する物品。
- 請求項1に記載の構造体を有する衣類。
- 請求項1に記載の構造体を有する防護カバー。
- 上記構造体の背面に隣接する絶縁部をさらに有する、請求項30に記載の衣類。
- 上記構造体の複数の層を有する、請求項31に記載の構造体を具備する防護カバーであって、少なくとも一つの構造体層が、上記波長範囲i)、ii)、iii )、及びiv)の少なくとも一つで異なった平均反射率の値を有する、防護カバー。
- 1,000g未満のハンドを有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 検知から防護される対象物に可視光画像及び熱線画像の抑制を提供するための方法であって、下記を含む方法:
A.対象物を提供し;
B.下記のステップを含んで構造体を形成し:
第一表面及び第二表面を有し、且つポリマー層及び少なくとも上記第一表面に適用されている着色剤を備える、3μm〜5μm及び9μm〜12μmにおける平均透過率が30%超であり、かつ475nm〜675nmの間の光学密度が0.30超である、熱線透明で可視光不透明である基材を含む第一部分を提供し;
0.75未満の放射率の低放射率部分を有する熱線反射層を含む第二部分を提供し;
熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材の第二表面に隣接して低放射率部分を配置して、上記構造体の前面から測定されている下記の平均反射率を有する構造体を形成する:
i)波長範囲400nm〜600nmにおいて、70%未満、
ii)波長範囲700nm〜1000nmにおいて、70%未満、
iii)波長範囲3μm〜5μmにおいて、25%超、且つ、
iv)波長範囲9μm〜12μmにおいて、25%超;
及び
C.上記第二部分を上記対象物に向けるようにして、上記構造体を配置すること。 - 下記を含む、構造体を作成する方法:
a.第一表面及び第二表面を有する、熱線透明のポリマー材料を備える第一基材を提供し;
b.着色剤を提供し;
c.上記熱線透明のポリマー材料の少なくとも第一表面に上記着色剤を適用して、3μm〜5μm及び9μm〜12μmにおける平均透過率が30%超であり、かつ475nm〜675nmの間の光学密度が0.30超である、熱線透明で可視光不透明の層を形成し;
d.ポリマー材料を有する第二基材を提供し;
e.0.75未満の放射率の低反射率部分を上記第二基材の表面に適用して、熱線反射層を形成し;
f.上記第二基材の低放射率部分を上記第一基材の第二表面に向け;
g.上記第一及び第二基材を接着して、上記構造体の前面から測定されている下記の平均反射率を有する構造体を形成すること:
i)波長範囲400nm〜600nmにおいて、70%未満、
ii)波長範囲700nm〜1000nmにおいて、70%未満、
iii)波長範囲3μm〜5μmにおいて、25%超、且つ
iv)波長範囲9μm〜12μmにおいて、25%超。 - 下記の第一部分及び第二部分を含む構造体であって:
上記第一部分は、着色剤、第一表面、及び第二表面を備える微孔質延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(ePTFE)フィルムを含み、且つ475nm〜675nmの間で0.30超の光学密度を有し;
上記第二部分は、上記第一部分の微孔質ePTFEに接着し且つ金属化された微孔質ePTFEを備える熱線反射層を有し;且つ
上記構造体の前面から測定されている下記の平均反射率を有する構造体:
i)波長範囲400nm〜600nmにおいて、70%未満、
ii)波長範囲700nm〜1000nmにおいて、70%未満、
iii)波長範囲3μm〜5μmにおいて、30%超、且つ
iv)波長範囲9μm〜12μmにおいて、30%超。 - 上記金属化された微孔質ePTFEが、上記第一部分の微孔質フィルムに接着した金属化された表面を有する、請求項37に記載の構造体。
- 上記金属化されたePTFEが、金属コーティングを有する、請求項38に記載の構造体。
- 上記金属が、アルミニウム(Al)を含有する、請求項37に記載の構造体。
- 下記の第一部分及び第二部分を含む構造体であって:
上記第一部分は、着色剤、第一表面、及び第二表面を備える微孔質延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(ePTFE)フィルムを含み、且つ475nm〜675nmの間で0.30超の光学密度を有し;
上記第二部分は、上記第一部分の微孔質ePTFEフィルムに接着した、金属化された表面を有する金属化された布地を含む熱線反射層を有し;且つ
上記構造体の前面から測定されている下記の平均反射率を有する構造体:
i)波長範囲400nm〜600nmにおいて、70%未満、
ii)波長範囲700nm〜1000nmにおいて、70%未満、
iii)波長範囲3μm〜5μmにおいて、30%超、且つ
iv)波長範囲9μm〜12μmにおいて、30%超。 - 上記金属が、アルミニウム(Al)を含有する、請求項41に記載の構造体。
- 検知から防護される対象物又は物体に可視光画像及び熱線画像の抑制を提供する、請求項1に記載の構造体を具備する物品であって、
内部表面は、上記対象物又は物体に向けられており、且つ
外部表面は、上記対象物又は物体からそむけられており、
ここで上記構造体の熱線反射層が、上記物品の内部表面に近接しており、且つ上記構造体の熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材が、上記物品の外部表面に近接している、物品。 - 上記熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材が、上記物品の外部表面に相当する、請求項43に記載の物品。
- 上記熱線反射層が、上記熱線透明で可視光不透明の基材の第二表面に接着している、請求項43に記載の物品。
- 上記構造体が、積層体である、請求項44に記載の物品。
