Claims (6)
- 軸線に沿って延びる中空部を有し、該中空部が複数の金属製軸部材を接合することで形成された動力伝達部材であって、隣り合う2つの軸部材が、端部同士を軸方向に突き合わせた状態で溶接されたものにおいて、
隣り合う2つの軸部材において、一方の軸部材に形成した他方の軸部材との突き合わせ面、および他方の軸部材に形成した一方の軸部材との突き合わせ面を互いに嵌合可能なテーパ形状に形成し、レーザ溶接又は電子ビーム溶接により、隣り合う2つの軸部材の突き合わせ面同士の突き合わせ部に、隣り合う2つの軸部材の双方が溶融して結合した溶接部を形成したことを特徴とする動力伝達部材。 - 隣り合う2つの軸部材の突き合わせ部外径に周方向溝を設け、この周方向溝にレーザ又は電子ビームを照射することにより、前記溶接部を形成した請求項1記載の動力伝達部材。
- 複数の軸部材のうち、最も一端側及び他端側に位置する軸部材の双方が、トルク伝達用の連結部を有するものである請求項1又は2に記載の動力伝達部材。
- 前記トルク伝達用の連結部は、等速自在継手の内側継手部材をトルク伝達可能に連結するためのものである請求項3記載の動力伝達部材。
- 複数の軸部材のうち、最も一端側に位置する軸部材が、トルク伝達用の連結部を有するものであり、最も他端側に位置する軸部材が、内周に等速自在継手の内側継手部材を収容可能なカップ状のマウス部を有するものである請求項1又は2に記載の動力伝達部材。
- 前記トルク伝達用の連結部がスプラインである請求項3〜5の何れか一項に記載の動力伝達部材。
