HBrO + -O-SO2-NH2 -> -O-SO2-NH-Br, -O-SO2-NBr2,

臭素、臭素酸およびスルファミン酸塩は、得られた溶液中に共存するため、反応(1)から反応(2)は相互に関して引き続いて生じる。理論に制限されることなく、酸化臭素安定剤の存在および臭素酸に対する臭素の正しい比は、以下の式に従って、臭素発生を防止していると考えられる:

反応(4)が反応(2)の場合に起きると、未加工の臭素源の半分は反応(5)に従って、非生物致死性および非酸化性臭素に逆変換される;
Br2+ H2O -> HBrO + HBr (5)
しかし、本発明に従って調製した生成物の分析によって、反応収率は50%を超えることが確認される。実際に、80%を超える臭素源が酸化臭素形に変換された。したがって、少なくとも80%の反応収率が達成された。
以下の実施例は本発明を例示し、当業者に本発明の作成および使用方法を教えるためのものである。これらの実施例は、発明またはその保護をいかなる場合にも制限するものではない。
実施例によって、21.2グラムのNaBrO3、32.8グラムのNaBrおよび100グラムの水を混合し、その溶液を3℃に冷却し、48グラムのスルファミン酸を該溶液に加え、溶液を10分間撹拌することによって、上述の方法に従った安定した酸化臭素生成物の合成を実施する。次に溶液温度を4〜14℃に制御しながら、48グラムの50%NaOH水溶液を該溶液にゆっくりと加えた。生じた生成物はpH 13.77の金色がかった黄色の溶液で、利用可能なハロゲン濃度はBr2として25.1%であった。本実施例では、すべての臭素源(臭素および臭素酸)が安定した酸化臭素に変換された場合、理論Br2%は29.9である。したがって、収率は約84%である。
別の実施例によって、21.2グラムのNaBrO3、32.8グラムのNaBrおよび100グラムの水を反応器内で混合し、その溶液を3℃に冷却し、44グラムのスルファミン酸を該溶液に加え、溶液を10分間撹拌し、3〜14℃に制御しながら、43グラムの50%NaOH水溶液を該溶液にゆっくりと加えることによって、上述の方法に従った安定した酸化臭素生成物の合成を実施する。生じた生成物はpH14.11の金色がかった黄色の溶液で、利用可能なハロゲン濃度はBr2として27.7%であった。本実施例では、すべての臭素源(臭素および臭素酸)が安定した酸化臭素に変換された場合、理論Br2%は31.2である。したがって、収率は約88.8%である。
実施例によって、52.16グラムのスルファミン酸、42.0グラムの水および128.0グラムの50% NaOH水溶液を500mlの3つ首ガラス反応器内で混合して、上述の方法に従った安定した酸化臭素生成物の合成を実施する。混合物を絶えずかき混ぜながら約3℃の温度まで冷却し、水浴で冷やす。82.5グラムの液体臭素(99.8% Br2)を液体にゆっくりと加え、反応温度を制御し10℃以下に維持した。生じた溶液のpHは12.5である。溶液のpHは3.0グラムの50% NaOHを加えて13より高いレベルにする。生じた溶液の臭素含有率はBr2として26.2%であるが、100% 変換の場合の理論含有率は、Br2として27.0%である。
残りの含有量は水、過剰なNaOHおよびNaBrであると考えられる。

該プロセスは、臭素酸塩および水を溶解させ、スルファミン酸または他の安定剤を溶液に加え、液体臭素をゆっくりと添加し、生じた生成物を長期間保存する場合は、NaOHを加えてpHレベルを13より高い値に調整することによって実施できる。該プロセスは、特に液体臭素の添加の間は、25℃未満の温度で実施する必要がある。
したがって、そのような変更および修正は、添付請求項の範囲に含まれるものである。
Claims (1)
- 安定した酸化臭素化合物を水溶液中で生成する方法であって、
水に臭素酸アルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属を溶解させて、溶液を作成するステップと、
ハロゲン安定剤を溶液に添加するステップであって、ハロゲン安定剤がR-NH2、R-NH-R1、R-SO2-NH2、R-SO2-NHR1、R-CO-NH2、R-CO-NH-R1およびR-CO-NH-CO-R1からなる群より選択され、Rが水酸基、アルキル基または芳香基であり、R1がアルキル基または芳香基であるところのステップと、そして、
液体臭素を前記溶液に25°C未満の温度で添加するステップと
からなる方法。
