Description
入することでバスバー部品103を保持し、フランジ108と接続片部103bを溶接箇所109で溶接した電池構造体が知られている。(例えば、特許文献1参照)
をフランジ部品の受入部へ安定して挿入することができる。その結果、外装絶縁チューブとバスバー部品の接続片部が擦れて外装絶縁チューブが破れることなく、電池構造体を使用する装置のメンテナンス時に人が感電する心配のない安全性に優れた電池構造体を提供できる。
0aの封口体11にバスバー部品13の板厚の薄い溶接部12を溶接により電気的に接続し、バスバー部品付のアルカリ蓄電池20aを構成し、もう一方のアルカリ蓄電池10bの電池ケース底部の外周面10cに略円形皿形状のフランジ部品18を嵌合し、この側壁に設けた溶接箇所14を溶接して電気的に接続し、外装絶縁チューブ19bにて被覆してフランジ部品付のアルカリ蓄電池20bを構成する。
片部13bの先端部分24は半径15mmの半円弧形状とした。この先端部分24に1.4mmの面取り部21を設けた。
図10に示したように、バスバー部品103は板厚の厚い中間部103aと、中間部103aから他端に向けて同じ厚さで延出する接続片部103bを平坦に構成し、接続片部103bの先端部分120がエッジ形状(面取り無し)に形成され、フランジ部品104は受入部としてのフランジ108の断面形状をL字状に切り起こしたものとしたことの他は実施例1と同じように作製した電池構造体を比較例1とした。
電池構造体の安全性確認のため、実施例1〜4、及び比較例1において、バスバー付のアルカリ蓄電池とフランジ付のアルカリ蓄電池を各50個作製した。
バスバー部品付のアルカリ蓄電池のバスバー部品の接続片部をフランジ部品付のアルカリ蓄電池のフランジ部品の受入部に挿入し、バスバー部品付のアルカリ蓄電池のバスバー部品の接続片部とフランジ部品付のアルカリ蓄電池の外装絶縁チューブが擦れ合った部分の外装絶縁チューブの破れの有無を評価した。その結果を(表1)に示す。
フランジ部品付のアルカリ蓄電池の外装絶縁チューブが擦れ合った部分の外装絶縁チューブの破れは実施例1〜4が皆無であったのに対し、比較例1は50個中2個の外装絶縁チューブの破れが発生した。

Claims (3)
- 少なくとも2個の外装絶縁チューブを被覆した単電池の軸方向が互いに並行となるように並置し、それぞれの単電池の外部端子間を電気的に接続する接続部品を備えた電池構造体であって、
前記接続部品は一方の単電池の外部端子と接続したフランジ部品と、他方の単電池の外部端子と接続したバスバー部品を有し、
前記バスバー部品の一端に先端を面取りした接続片部を設け、
前記フランジ部品の上部にバスバー部品の接続片部を受け入れる角筒状の受入部を設け、この受入部にバスバー部品の接続片部を挿入し、受入部と接続片部とを電気的に接続した電池構造体。 - 前記接続片部に、押出し加工により段差形状部を設けた請求項1に記載の電池構造体。
- 前記接続片部の少なくとも一方の側縁に、前記受入部と係合するツメ部を設けた請求項1に記載の電池構造体。
