また、本発明の参考となる排気ガス浄化システムの制御方法は、内燃機関の排気通路に上流側から順に、排気ガス中の粒子状物質を浄化するためのディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置と、NOxを浄化するための選択的接触還元型触媒装置を配設し、前記選択的接触還元型触媒装置にアンモニア系水溶液を供給する水溶液供給装置を、前記ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置の下流側でかつ前記選択的接触還元型触媒装置の上流側に配設すると共に、前記アンモニア系水溶液の供給量を調整する水溶液供給量調整手段を備えた排気ガス浄化システムの制御方法において、次のことを特徴とする。

Claims (1)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に上流側から順に、排気ガス中の粒子状物質を浄化するためのディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置と、NOxを浄化するための選択的接触還元型触媒装置を配設し、前記選択的接触還元型触媒装置にアンモニア系水溶液を供給する水溶液供給装置を、前記ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置の下流側でかつ前記選択的接触還元型触媒装置の上流側に配設すると共に、前記アンモニア系水溶液の供給量を調整する水溶液供給量調整手段を備えた排気ガス浄化システムにおいて、
前記水溶液供給量調整手段は、
通常運転時に前記内燃機関から排出される前記ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置の下流側で前記選択的接触還元型触媒装置の上流側の排気ガス中のNOx濃度を記録した通常運転時用のNOx濃度マップと、
前記ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置の強制再生時に前記内燃機関から排出される前記ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置の下流側で前記選択的接触還元型触媒装置の上流側の排気ガス中のNOx濃度を記録した前記ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置の強制再生時用のNOx濃度マップとを有し、
通常運転時には、前記通常運転時用のNOx濃度マップを参照して通常運転時のNOx濃度を算出し、空気流量をマップ化した空気流量マップを参照して空気流量を算出し、燃料流量をマップ化した燃料流量マップを参照して燃料流量を算出して、算出された前記空気流量と前記燃料流量の和から排気ガス量を算出し、該算出された排気ガス量を排気ガス密度で除して排気ガス流量を算出し、該算出された排気ガス流量に前記通常運転時のNOx濃度を乗じてNOx排出量を算出し、該算出されたNOx排出量を還元するのに必要なアンモニア系水溶液の供給量を算出し、前記水溶液供給装置は該算出された供給量になるように前記アンモニア系水溶液を供給し、
前記ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置の強制再生時には、前記強制再生時用のNOx濃度マップを参照して強制再生時のNOx濃度を算出し、空気流量をマップ化した前記空気流量マップを参照して空気流量を算出し、燃料流量をマップ化した前記燃料流量マップを参照して燃料流量を算出して、算出された前記空気流量と前記燃料流量の和から排気ガス量を算出し、該算出された排気ガス量を排気ガス密度で除して排気ガス流量を算出し、該算出された排気ガス流量に前記強制再生時のNOx濃度を乗じて、前記ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置の強制再生により前記ディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ装置から発生されるNOx量を含めたNOx排出量を算出し、該算出されたNOx排出量を還元するアンモニア系水溶液の供給量を算出し、前記水溶液供給装置は該算出された供給量に基づいて前記アンモニア系水溶液を供給することを特徴とする排気ガス浄化システム。
