Description
前記第1基材及び前記第2基材は、シクロオレフィンポリマー(COP)、あるいは、シクロオレフィンコポリマー(COC)により形成されており、
前記接着層は、パラフィン、あるいは、ナフテンで形成され、又は、パラフィン、あるいは、ナフテンと、少なくとも、接着補助剤、前記第1基材及び前記第2基材を構成するポリマー、マクロモノマーのいずれか1種を含んで形成されることを特徴とするものである。
シクロオレフィンポリマー(COP)、あるいはシクロオレフィンコポリマー(COC)により形成された前記第1基材及び前記第2基材の少なくともいずれか一方の対向面に、パラフィン、あるいは、ナフテン、又は、パラフィン、あるいは、ナフテンと、少なくとも、接着補助剤、前記第1基材及び前記第2基材を構成するポリマー、マクロモノマーのいずれか1種を含んで形成された接着剤を塗布する工程、
前記第1基材と前記第2基材の対向面同士を前記接着剤を介して対向させ、前記接着剤により両基材を接合する工程、
を特徴とするものである。
図2に示すようにCOPやCOCで形成された第1基材2の表面(対向面)2aに液状の接着剤6を塗布する。
第1基材及び第2基材を以下の表1に示す材質で形成した。
次に、図5(a)(b)に示す破壊試験用サンプルを形成した。図5(a)は斜視図、図5(b)は裏面図(基材2側から見た図)である。
なお基材には日本ゼオン製のゼオネックス(COP)を使用した。
また表3に示すようにどの接着剤を用いても接合温度を高くするほど接着強度を向上できることがわかった。
次に、パラフィンD、パラフィンD+マクロモノマーE、パラフィンD+マクロモノマーB、パラフィンD+マクロモノマーFからなる接着剤を用い、以下の表4に示すように接合時間を変えたときの接着強度について実験を行った。実験で使用したサンプルや試験方法は図5で説明した通りである。パラフィンDに関しては表2を参照されたい。
表4に示すように、接合時間が長いほど接着強度が大きくなることがわかった。
実験では、図5で説明した破壊試験サンプルを用いて接着強度の試験を行った。接着剤には表2に示すパラフィンCを用いた。図6が、接着圧力と接着強度との関係を示すグラフである。なお破壊試験サンプルは界面破壊を起こし界面破壊した基材同士が剥がれたときの接着強度を測定した。
図6に示すように圧力が変化してもほぼ一定の接着強度を得ることが出来た。
図7に示す破壊試験用サンプルを形成した。基材には日本ゼオン製のゼオネックス(COP)を使用した。
100μm厚のCOP(日本ゼオン製のゼオノア)シートと流路が形成された2mm厚のCOP(日本ゼオン製のゼオネックス)板とを接着層を介して接合した。
図8に示すように実施例ではPCT後でもクラックが生じなかったが、図9の比較例では、接着シートの部分にクラックが生じていることがわかった。
このように本実施例では耐久性に優れることがわかった。
ナフテン(数平均分子量が350)のみからなる接着剤を、100μm厚のCOP(日本ゼオン製のゼオノア)シートと2mm厚のCOP(日本ゼオン製のゼオネックス)間の接合に用いた。接合条件は温度80℃、圧力1.85kN(1MPa)、接合時間を1分とした。そして図10に示すように1分10mmの速度で引っ張り強度試験を行ったところ、界面破壊でなく母材破壊が起こったため、パラフィンを用いた場合と同様に強く接着されていることがわかった。

Claims (18)
- 第1基材と、第2基材とが接着層を介して接合されて成る接合部材において、
前記第1基材及び前記第2基材は、シクロオレフィンポリマー(COP)、あるいは、シクロオレフィンコポリマー(COC)により形成されており、
前記接着層は、パラフィン、あるいは、ナフテンで形成され、又は、パラフィン、あるいは、ナフテンと、少なくとも、接着補助剤、前記第1基材及び前記第2基材を構成するポリマー、マクロモノマーのいずれか1種を含んで形成されることを特徴とする接合部材。 - 前記第1基材及び前記第2基材は、10μm〜10mmの厚みのシートで形成される請求項1記載の接合部材。
- 前記パラフィン及び前記ナフテンの数平均分子量は、100〜1000の範囲内である請求項1又は2に記載の接合部材。
- 前記第1基材及び前記第2基材を構成するポリマーの数平均分子量が5000以上である請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の接合部材。
- 前記マクロモノマーの数平均分子量が5000以上である請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の接合部材。
- 前記接着層内に占める前記マクロモノマーの混合比(割合)が0.1重量%〜80重量%の範囲内である請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の接合部材。
- 前記マクロモノマーが、ソフトセグメントである高分子鎖とアゾ基が連続してなる架橋構造を持つ開始剤より形成されている請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の接合部材。
- 第1基材と、第2基材とが接着層を介して接合されて成る接合部材の製造方法において、
シクロオレフィンポリマー(COP)、あるいはシクロオレフィンコポリマー(COC)により形成された前記第1基材及び前記第2基材の少なくともいずれか一方の対向面に、パラフィン、あるいは、ナフテン、又は、パラフィン、あるいは、ナフテンと、少なくとも、接着補助剤、前記第1基材及び前記第2基材を構成するポリマー、マクロモノマーのいずれか1種を含んで形成された接着剤を塗布する工程、
前記第1基材と前記第2基材の対向面同士を前記接着剤を介して対向させ、前記接着剤により両基材を接合する工程、
を特徴とする接合部材の製造方法。 - 前記第1基材及び前記第2基材を、10μm〜10mmの厚みのシートで形成する請求項10記載の接合部材の製造方法。
- 前記パラフィン及び前記ナフテンの数平均分子量を、100〜1000の範囲内で調整する請求項10又は11に記載の接合部材の製造方法。
- 前記第1基材及び前記第2基材を構成するポリマーの数平均分子量を5000以上で調整する請求項10ないし12のいずれかに記載の接合部材の製造方法。
- 前記マクロモノマーの数平均分子量を5000以上で調整する請求項10ないし13のいずれかに記載の接合部材の製造方法。
- 前記接着剤に占める前記マクロモノマーの混合比(割合)を0.1重量%〜80重量%の範囲内で調整する請求項10ないし14のいずれかに記載の接合部材の製造方法。
- 前記マクロモノマーが、ソフトセグメントである高分子鎖とアゾ基が連続してなる架橋構造を持つ開始剤より形成されている請求項10ないし15のいずれかに記載の接合部材の製造方法。
