Description
本発明は第1に、盗難防止(EAS)ラベルの機能とUHF RFIDタイプのトランスポンダの機能を実施することのできるラベルであって、(a)基板としてのプラスチックシート4と、(b)無線周波数モードで動作可能なEASループアンテナ2と、(c)UHFダイポールアンテナ3が組み込まれたトランスポンダとを含むことを特徴とするラベルを対象としている。
本発明は、同一ラベル上で、UHFアンテナとRFモードで動作するEASアンテナを備えたRFIDトランスポンダとを結合することにより、第2のラベルを保護または追跡すべき製品に付加することを避ける。
ある特定の実施形態では、EASアンテナおよび/またはUHFアンテナは例えば打抜きなどの機械的な金属サブトラクション法を用いて製造される。
ポリプロピレン(PP)から成る第1の基板上でアルミニウムエッチングを行うことにより、巻回シートの形でEASアンテナを作製した。なお、このEASアンテナはおよそ8.2MHzの周波数で共振するように設計されている。同時に、915MHz、950MHzまたは869MHzの周波数(3つの異なる実施形態に対応して、周波数はそれぞれの国で施行されている規制に基づいて選択される)で共振するように設計されたUHFダイポールアンテナを作製した。EASアンテナはシートの両側に作製し、機械的なクリンピングにより電気的連続性を実現した。
Claims (7)
- 盗難防止EASラベルの機能とUHF RFIDトランスポンダの機能を実施するラベルであって、
(a)基板としてのプラスチックシート(4)と、
(b)前記基板(4)の前面(6)および背面(7)にアルミニウムで実現されたEASループアンテナ(2)であって、ブリッジにより電気的接続が為されており、無線周波数モードで動作可能なEASループアンテナ(2)と、
(c)前記基板(4)の前面(6)または背面(7)に実現されたUHFダイポールアンテナ(3)を有するトランスポンダと、
(d)自己誘導コイルアンテナ(5)と、
(e)前記基板(4)の前面(6)または背面(7)に配置された集積回路(11)と、
を含んでおり、
前記EASループアンテナ(2)と前記UHFダイポールアンテナ(3)は互いに近接して配置され、
前記自己誘導コイルアンテナ(5)は前記集積回路(11)に接続され、
前記自己誘導コイルアンテナ(5)は一方の面(6、7)に配置され、前記UHFダイポールアンテナ(3)は他方の面(7、6)に配置され、
前記自己誘導コイルアンテナ(5)は支持体上に設けられ、前記UHFダイポールアンテナ(3)は他方の面(6、7)に配置され、
前記支持体は前記基板(4)の前面(6)または背面(7)に接着されている、
ことを特徴とするラベル。 - 前記支持体はプラスチックシートである、
請求項1記載のラベル。 - 請求項1または2記載のラベルを製造する方法であって、
(a)前記支持体上に前記自己誘導コイルアンテナ(5)を製造するステップと、
(b)前記自己誘導コイルアンテナ(5)に接続された前記集積回路(11)を配置して第1のアセンブリを形成するステップと、
(c)サブトラクティブアルミニウム金属技術に基づいて、前記EASループアンテナ(2)と前記UHFダイポールアンテナ(3)とから成る中間製品を前記基板(4)上に製造するステップと、
(d)ステップ(b)で形成した第1のアセンブリをステップ(c)で形成したUHFダイポールアンテナ(3)に対して前記中間製品の前面または背面に配置および取り付けることにより第2のアセンブリを製造するステップと、
を有しており、
ステップ(a)および(b)は逐次的に実行され、ステップ(c)はステップ(a)および(b)の前、同時、または後に実行される、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - ステップ(d)において、前記中間製品の前面または背面への第1のアセンブリの取り付けを接着により行う、
請求項3記載の方法。 - ステップ(c)において、EASループアンテナ(2)および/またはUHFダイポールアンテナ(3)をサブトラクティブ金属技術により製造する、
請求項3または4記載の方法。 - 請求項1もしくは2に記載のラベルまたは請求項3もしくは4に記載の方法を実行することにより得られる「RFID/盗難防止ラベル」と呼ばれるラベルを使用する方法であって、
a)保護すべきおよび/または追跡すべき製品の製造が完了した時点で、前記製品にRFID/盗難防止ラベルを取り付けるステップと、
b)前記ラベルの前記集積回路(11)をデータDで初期化し、EASループアンテナ(2)を活動化させるステップと、
c)前記製品が製造工場を出て売場のレジを通るときに前記EASループアンテナ(2)が非活動化されるまでの間に少なくとも一度、前記データDを読み出すステップと、
d)前記製品が前記売場のレジを通るときに前記EASループアンテナ(2)を非活動化させるステップと、
を含んでおり、
ステップa)とb)はいずれの順序で実行してもよいが、ステップc)とd)は上に示した順序でステップaおよびb)の後に実行される、
ことを特徴とする使用方法。 - 前記データDは保護すべきおよび/または追跡すべき製品に関するデータである、
請求項6記載の方法。
