Description
本願は、2008年6月9日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/059,885号の利益を主張する。該出願は参照によってその全体が本明細書に援用される。
微小孔を有さない従来のサセプタと比較するように、複数の微小孔を有する種々のサセプタ構造体の伝導率及び最高温度を示すように、熱量測定試験を行った。微小孔を有するサンプルは炭酸ガスレーザーを用いてx−yテーブル上で作製した。
種々の構造体を、食品を加熱、焼き色付け及び/又はカリカリ仕上げするそれらの各能力を判断するために評価した。約3.5インチ×約7.5インチの寸法を有するマイクロ波加熱用シート又はカードを用意した。これらのサンプルを用いて1100W電子レンジ内で約2分間、Schwan‘s flatbread pizzasを加熱した。その結果は表2にまとめてある。
Claims (11)
- 互いに対向する第1の側面及び第2の側面を有する、高分子膜と、
前記高分子膜の前記第2の側面に配置されるマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料層と、
前記高分子膜の前記第1の側面が前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料層と連通するように、前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料層及び前記高分子膜を貫通する、複数の微小孔であって、該複数の微小孔は約0.05mm乃至約2mmの主一次元寸法を有する、複数の微小孔と、
を備え、
前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料層を貫通する前記複数の微小孔のうちの少なくとも一つの微小孔は、マイクロ波エネルギー透過性領域によって囲まれており、
前記マイクロ波エネルギー透過性領域は、化学的に不活性化されたマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料からなる、マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料層の前記高分子膜に対向する側面側に接合される支持層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 前記支持層は複数の孔を有する、請求項2に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 前記支持層の前記複数の孔のうちの少なくとも一つの孔は、前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料層を貫通する前記複数の微小孔のうちの少なくとも一つの微小孔と整合する、請求項3に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 前記支持層は紙ベースの材料からなる、請求項2乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 前記高分子膜の前記第1の側面は、食品を受け入れるようになっており、且つ
前記支持層は、前記食品から放出される水蒸気及び滲出物の少なくとも一方を吸収するように機能する、請求項2乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 食品を入れる内部スペースを有するマイクロ波加熱用構造体の少なくとも一部を構成する、請求項2乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 前記複数の微小孔は前記マイクロ波加熱用構造体の取外し可能な部分を少なくとも部分的に画定し、前記マイクロ波加熱用構造体の前記取外し可能な部分は前記内部スペース内の前記食品にアクセスするために機能する、請求項7に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 前記複数の微小孔は約0.08mm乃至約1.5mmの主一次元寸法を有する、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 前記複数の微小孔は約0.15mm乃至約0.5mmの主一次元寸法を有する、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
- 前記複数の微小孔は約0.1mm乃至約0.3mmの主一次元寸法を有する、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用構造体。
