ブロックをミクロトームで、包埋材料、ミクロトームにより切片化可能な支持体、弾性発泡材料及び組織標本の薄いスライスにスライシングするステップとを含むことができる。

Claims (19)
- ミクロトームで首尾よく切片化することができ、組織の固定、処理、染色に使用される溶液および化学物質による劣化に耐性がある材料から形成される組織支持体と、
前記組織支持体に結合される、弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体であって、処理および包埋中、組織に弾性的に係合し組織を定位置に維持するように構成され、さらに前記ミクロトームで首尾よく切片化することができ、組織の固定、処理、染色に使用される前記溶液および化学物質の浸透、ならびに前記弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体によって前記組織を弾性的に維持しながら前記組織を包埋するために使用される包埋材料の浸透を可能にするように多孔性である弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体と、
を含む組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。 - 前記弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体が、ポリエーテルまたはポリウレタンの少なくとも一方をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- 少なくとも1つの側壁によって囲まれるとともに、底壁を含む凹部を含み、前記凹部が前記弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体の少なくとも一部を含むように構成された、組織収容部分をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- 前記収容部分に連結されるように構成された蓋をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- 前記弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体が前記蓋に結合され、前記蓋と前記収容部分を連結すると、少なくとも一部が前記凹部内へ挿入される、請求項4に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- 前記支持体を形成する材料が、組織分析中に妨げとならないように少なくとも半透明である、請求項1に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- 前記支持体がポリマーから形成される、請求項6に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- 前記ポリマーがフッ素化ポリマーである、請求項7に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- 前記ポリマーがフルオロポリマーである、請求項7に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- フレームと、
前記フレーム上に解除可能に維持される組織支持体であって、ミクロトームで首尾よく切片化することができ、組織の固定、処理、染色に使用される溶液および化学物質による劣化に耐性がある材料から形成される組織支持体と、
前記組織支持体に結合される弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体であって、処理および包埋中、組織に弾性的に係合し組織を定位置に維持するように構成され、さらに前記ミクロトームで首尾よく切片化することができ、組織の固定、処理、染色に使用される前記溶液および化学物質の浸透、ならびに前記弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体によって前記組織を弾性的に維持しながら前記組織を包埋するために使用される包埋材料の浸透を可能にするように多孔性である弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体と、
を含む組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。 - 前記組織支持体が前記フレームに解除可能に結合されるように構成され、前記フレームがミクロトームチャック内で解除可能に固定されるように構成されている、請求項10に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- 前記フレームは内部を含み、前記組織支持体は、前記内部内で少なくとも第1の位置と第2の位置の間に嵌合し動くように寸法設定され、前記第1の位置は前記組織標本の処理中に使用され、前記第2の位置は、前記組織標本をミクロトームで切片化できるように、前記組織を前記フレームから外向きに定位置に露出するために使用される、請求項11に記載の組織学的組織標本支持デバイス。
- 組織学的検査のための1つまたは複数の生検組織標本を作製する方法であって、
組織標本をミクロトームにより切片化可能な支持体に近接して位置決めするステップと、
前記組織標本を前記組織支持体に結合されたミクロトームにより切片化可能な弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体と接触させることによって、前記組織標本を前記支持体上に固定するステップと、
前記ミクロトームにより切片化可能な支持体、前記発泡体および前記組織標本に、前記組織標本内の流体を硬化可能な材料に置き換えるプロセスを実施するステップと、
前記ミクロトームにより切片化可能な支持体、前記発泡体および前記組織標本を包埋材料に包埋するステップと、
前記包埋材料をブロックへと硬化するステップと、
前記ブロックをミクロトームで、前記包埋材料、前記ミクロトームにより切片化可能な支持体、前記発泡体および前記組織標本の薄いスライスにスライシングするステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記包埋材料がワックスである、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記ミクロトームにより切片化可能な支持体が前記組織標本を保持するように構成された底面部分および前記弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体を保持する蓋をさらに含み、前記組織標本を固定するステップがさらに、
前記組織標本を、前記弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体と前記底面部分との間に閉じ込めるように、前記蓋を前記組織標本の上面の上に閉じるステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記底面部分が、少なくとも1つの側壁によって囲まれた内部空間を含み、前記位置決めするステップおよび前記固定するステップがさらに、
前記組織標本を前記内部空間内に置くステップと、
前記弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体の少なくとも一部を前記内部空間内に挿入し前記組織標本と接触させるステップとを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。 - 前記弾性を有する完全に網状化された連続気泡発泡体が、前記固定するステップ中に前記組織標本を受ける3次元空間を形成するように変形する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記ミクロトームにより切片化可能な支持体が、前記組織標本内の流体を前記硬化可能な材料に置き換える処理を実施する前にフレームに結合され、前記ブロックをスライシングする前に前記フレームをミクロトーム内に固定するステップをさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記ミクロトームにより切片化可能な支持体、前記発泡体および前記組織標本を前記包埋材料に包埋するステップの前に、前記ミクロトームにより切片化可能な支持体が、前記フレーム内の第1の位置から、包埋し次いでミクロトームで同時に切片化するために前記支持体、前記発泡体および前記組織標本が露出される第2の位置へと動く、請求項18に記載の方法。
