Description
該潤滑油組成物全量基準で、
(A)成分を、金属量として0.12質量%以上2.0質量%以下、
(B)成分を、ホウ素量として0質量%以上0.03質量%以下、窒素量として0.005質量%以上0.12質量%以下で、かつ、前記ホウ素量(B)と前記窒素量(N)との質量比(B/N)が0以上0.55以下となる量、
(C)成分を、リン量として0.005質量%以上0.10質量%以下、
含有している、銀含有材料と接触する潤滑油組成物である。
本発明の潤滑油組成物(以下、単に潤滑油組成物ともいう。)に用いられる潤滑油基油としては、通常の潤滑油に使用される鉱油系基油及び/又は合成系基油であれば特に制限なく使用することができる。
本発明の潤滑油組成物は、(A)成分として金属系清浄剤を含有する。金属系清浄剤としては、特に制限はなく、公知のアルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属スルホネート系清浄剤、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属フェネート系清浄剤、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属サリシレート系清浄剤、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属ナフテネート系清浄剤、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属ホスホネート系清浄剤及びこれらの2種以上の混合物(コンプレックスタイプも含む。)等が挙げられる。これらの中ではフェネート系又はサリチレート系清浄剤が好ましい。
本発明の潤滑油組成物は、(B)成分としてアルケニルコハク酸イミドおよび/またはホウ素含有アルケニルコハク酸イミドを含有する。
本発明の潤滑油組成物は、(C)成分としてジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛を含有する。
本発明の潤滑油組成物は、銀の腐食を抑制することができるため、銀含有材料と接触する潤滑油として好適に使用することができる。銀含有材料としては、本発明の潤滑油組成物と接触する金属表面に銀が存在する限りにおいて何ら制限はなく、銀だけでなく、銀合金、あるいは、銀メッキ等、銀又は銀合金を各種金属基材表面に被覆した材料が挙げられる。また、銀含有材料には、その表面に非銀含有材料が被覆されていても、使用過程においてその被覆面が摩耗して当該銀含有材料が露出し、本発明の潤滑油組成物と接触する可能性がある場合も含まれる。また、銀含有材料には、摺動部に用いられる銀含有材料だけでなく、摺動部以外の、潤滑油組成物と接触する銀含有材料も含まれる。
3種の基油に、添加剤(A)、(B)、及び(C)成分を配合して、表1に示す組成を有する潤滑油組成物を調製した(実施例1〜9、比較例1〜5)。各添加剤の添加量は組成物全量基準である。
試験片:銀メッキ片(0.5mm×30mm×30mm)
試験温度:150℃
試験時間:90h
試験油量:250g
Claims (5)
- 鉱油系基油及び/又は合成系基油からなる潤滑油基油、(A)金属系清浄剤、(B)1種又は2種以上のアルケニルコハク酸イミド及び/又はホウ素含有アルケニルコハク酸イミド、並びに、(C)ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛を含有してなる、潤滑油組成物であって、
該潤滑油組成物全量基準で、
(A)成分を、金属量として0.12質量%以上2.0質量%以下、
(B)成分を、ホウ素量として0質量%以上0.03質量%以下、窒素量として0.005質量%以上0.12質量%以下で、かつ、前記ホウ素量(B)と前記窒素量(N)との質量比(B/N)が0以上0.55以下となる量、
(C)成分を、リン量として0.005質量%以上0.10質量%以下、
含有し、
前記(A)成分に起因する金属量(M)と前記(B)成分に起因する窒素量(N)との質量比(M/N)が3.0以上である、
銀含有材料と接触する潤滑油組成物。 - 前記銀含有材料が、マグネシウムを含有する銀含有材料を除く銀含有材料である、
請求項1に記載の潤滑油組成物。 - 前記(A)成分が、アルカリ金属フェネート、アルカリ土類金属フェネート、アルカリ金属サリシレート、または、アルカリ土類金属サリシレートのいずれかである、請求項1または2に記載の潤滑油組成物。
- 前記潤滑油基油の硫黄分が50ppm未満である、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の潤滑油組成物。
- 潤滑油として請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の潤滑油組成物を銀含有材料に接触させる工程を備えた、潤滑油と接触する銀含有材料の保護方法。
