- 真空ハウジング(50)と、
少なくとも1つの電子ビームを発生しかつ前記真空ハウジング(50)内部に配置された複数のエミッタ素子(81)を有する少なくとも1つのエミッタアレイ(80)であって、前記複数のエミッタ素子(81)内のエミッタ素子の各々が、少なくとも3つの活性化結線(92)を有する、前記少なくとも1つのエミッタアレイ(80)と、
前記複数のエミッタ素子(81)と前記少なくとも3つの活性化結線(92)との間に連結された複数のANDゲート素子(120)と、
前記真空ハウジング(50)内部に配置され、前記少なくとも1つの電子ビームを受けてX線を発生するターゲットと、
を含み、前記複数のANDゲート素子(120)が、前記複数のエミッタ素子(81)を活性化させる、
X線源。 - 前記複数のエミッタ素子(81)の少なくとも1つのエミッタ素子が、該少なくとも1つのエミッタ素子に関連する前記複数の活性化結線(92)の各活性化結線から活性化信号を受けた時に、活性化される、請求項1記載のX線源。

- 前記複数のエミッタ素子(81)の少なくとも1つのエミッタ素子が、前記少なくとも1つのエミッタアレイ・ブロック(59)がアドレス指定されかつ該少なくとも1つのエミッタ素子に関連する前記複数の活性化結線(92)の各活性化結線から活性化信号を受けた時に、活性化される、請求項3記載のX線源。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエミッタアレイ・ブロック(59)が、直列に連結された複数のエミッタアレイ・ブロックを含む、請求項3記載のX線源。
- 前記複数のエミッタ素子(81)が、3次元活性化スキーム及び1次元物理的構成を有する、請求項1記載のX線源。
- 前記複数のエミッタ素子(81)が、複数の焦点制御結線(96)を有する、請求項1記載のX線源。
