Claims (20)
- 複数のトラック溝が形成されたカップ部と、カップ部の底部に一端が連結された軸部とを備えた等速自在継手の外方部材であって、
炭素量が異なる部材を接合した後、高周波焼入れすることにより、高周波焼入れによる焼入熱影響箇所と、高周波焼入れによる焼入非熱影響箇所と、接合時に発生する熱による影響を受ける接合熱影響箇所と、接合時に発生する熱による影響を受けない接合非熱影響箇所とが形成され、
炭素量の高い部材の焼入非熱影響箇所であって、炭素量の低い部材との接合端面を含む端部における接合熱影響箇所に、マルテンサイト組織を無くしたことを特徴とする等速自在継手の外方部材。 - 炭素量の高い部材の炭素の偏析度が1.02〜1.12であることを特徴とする請求項1の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 炭素量の高い部材の炭素量を0.45mass%〜0.58mass%としたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 母材硬さに比べて、炭素量の高い部材及び炭素量の低い部材の接合に伴う前記接合熱影響箇所の硬さの増加がHV50〜150であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 炭素量の高い部材のS量を0.005〜0.020mass%としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 炭素量の低い部材の炭素量を0.35mass%〜0.46mass%としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 炭素量の低い部材のS量を0.005〜0.020mass%としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 炭素量の高い部材及び炭素量の低い部材のうち、少なくとも一方にBを0.0005mass%〜0.0035mass%添加したことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 軸部の反カップ部側の端部にスプラインが形成され、炭素量が異なる部材同士を接合してなる接合部の径を、前記スプラインの外径よりも大としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項8のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 軸部の高周波焼入れ方法を、移動焼入としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項9のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 前記接合部の直径φDと、軸部に形成されたスプラインの小径φdとの比D/dが1.4を超えたものについて、軸部の高周波焼入れ方法を定置焼入としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項9のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 焼入硬化後に、前記接合部の外径部に研削仕上げを施したことを特徴とする請求項10又は請求項11の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 前記接合部を含む接合熱影響箇所の外径部にショットピーニング処理を施したことを特徴とする請求項12の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 焼入硬化された軸部のうち、少なくとも軸端部に形成されたスプライン部にショットピーニング処理を施したことを特徴とする請求項12又は請求項13の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 軸部材を中実素材から成形したことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項14のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 軸部材を中空素材から成形したことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項14のいずれか1項の等速自在継手の外方部材。
- 軸部材の中空素材を電縫管としたことを特徴とする請求項16の等速自在継手の外方部材。
