Description
Claims (10)
- ベーマイト粒状材料を形成する方法であって、
ベーマイト先駆物質及びベーマイト種を懸濁液中にベーマイト先駆物質がベーマイト種に対して60:40以上の質量比で提供し、ここで該懸濁液がギ酸を含む酸性懸濁液であるかまたは塩基性懸濁液である工程;そして
該ベーマイト先駆物質を、主に小平板(platelet)形状の粒子から構成されており3:1以上のアスペクト比を有しかつ3:1以上の第二アスペクト比を有するベーマイト粒状材料に変換するために、該懸濁液を120℃より高い温度で熱処理する工程、を含んでなる方法。 - 熱処理が130℃より高い温度で実施される、請求項1に記載された方法。
- 熱処理が586kPa(85psi)より高い圧力で実施される、請求項1に記載された方法。
- 質量比が80:20以上である、請求項1に記載された方法。
- ベーマイト先駆物質のベーマイト種に対する質量比が98:2以下である、請求項4に記載された方法。
- ベーマイト粒状材料が1000nm以下の平均粒子サイズを有する、請求項1に記載された方法。
- ベーマイト粒状材料が1000nm以下の平均粒子サイズを有するように、熱処理温度、又はベーマイト先駆物質のベーマイト種に対する質量比の少なくとも一を設定することをさらに含んでなる、請求項1に記載された方法。
- 設定は、熱処理温度、又はベーマイト先駆物質のベーマイト種に対する質量比の少なくとも一を変更することを含む、請求項7に記載された方法。
- ベーマイト先駆物質のベーマイト種に対する質量比が、アスペクト比を増加するために増加される、又はアスペクト比を低減するために低減される、請求項8に記載された方法。
- 熱処理温度が、粒子サイズを大きくするために高くされる、又は粒子サイズを小さくするために低くされる、請求項8に記載された方法。
