Description
a.(i)熱可塑性ポリアミドを少なくとも50pbwおよび場合により
(ii)少なくとも1種の他のポリマー化合物
からなり、(a)(i)+(a)(ii)の総量が100pbwであるポリマー組成物を20〜80重量%と、
b.(i)ハロゲン系難燃化合物、
(ii)亜鉛含有難燃相乗剤を含む非アンチモン系難燃相乗剤、および場合により
(iii)他の難燃剤成分
からなる難燃剤系を10〜60重量%と、
c.(i)亜リン酸エステル安定剤を少なくとも0.01重量%および場合により
(ii)少なくとも1種の安定剤
からなる安定剤系を0.01〜10重量%と、
d.強化繊維および/またはフィラーを0〜60重量%と、
e.少なくとも1種の他の添加剤を0〜20重量%と
からなり、重量%はいずれもポリアミド組成物の総重量に対するものであり、(a)+(b)+(c)+(d)+(e)の合計は100重量%である。
a)(i)熱可塑性ポリアミドを75〜100pbwおよび
(ii)少なくとも1種の他のポリマー化合物を0〜25pbw
からなり、(a)(i)+(a)(ii)の総量が100pbwであるポリマー組成物を20〜60重量%と、
b)(i)ハロゲン系難燃化合物を15〜45重量%、
(ii)難燃相乗剤の総重量に対し少なくとも50重量%が亜鉛含有難燃相乗剤から構成される非アンチモン系難燃相乗剤を1〜20重量%、および場合により
(iii)他の難燃剤成分を0〜10重量%
からなり、(b)(i)+(b)(ii)+(b)(iii)の総量が20〜60重量%である難燃剤系を20〜60重量%と、
c)(i)亜リン酸エステル安定剤を0.01〜5重量%および
(ii)少なくとも1種の他の安定剤を0〜5重量%
からなる安定剤系を0.01〜10重量%と、
d)強化繊維および/またはフィラーを20〜50重量%と、場合により
e)少なくとも1種の他の添加剤を0〜10重量%と
からなり、重量%はいずれもポリアミド組成物の総重量に対するものであり、(a)+(b)+(c)+(d)+(e)の合計は100重量%である。
以下に記載するポリアミド組成物の調製には工業用材料を用いた。
PA−I ポリアミド46をベースとする半結晶性脂肪族ポリアミド:nrel 2.8、Tm 295℃
PA−II ポリアミド66/6Tをベースとする半結晶性半芳香族ポリアミド:nrel 2.5、Tm 320℃
BPS 臭素化ポリスチレン:PDBS 80(ケムチュラ(Chemtura)/グレート・レイクス(Great Lakes)から)
ATO 三酸化アンチモン(Campineから)
SAM アンチモン酸ナトリウム:Pyroblock SAP2(ケムチュラ/グレート・レイクスから)
ZST スズ酸亜鉛:Flamtard S(William Blytheから)
ZBO ホウ酸亜鉛:ファイアーブレークZB(ボラックスから)
PS 亜リン酸エステル安定剤:Doverphos S9228(Doverから)
HPS ヒンダードフェノール安定剤:イルガノックス(Irganox)1098(チバ(Ciba)から)
[ポリアミド組成物の調製]
ポリアミド−I(PA−I)29.4重量%、臭素化ポリスチレン(BPS)22.5重量%、ホウ酸亜鉛(ZBO)7.5重量%、亜リン酸エステル安定剤(PS)0.5重量%、ヒンダードフェノール安定剤(HPS)0.3重量%、ガラス繊維40重量%の組合せ(重量%は組成物の総重量に対する)を含む実施例Iによるポリアミド組成物を、この構成成分をウェルナー&フライデラー(Werner&Pfleiderer)のZSK−25二軸押出機にて300℃の平坦な温度プロファイルを用いて溶融混練することによって調製した。ガラス繊維(サイドフィードから添加)以外の構成成分はホッパから供給した。押出機の出口で溶融ポリマーを脱気してストランドにし、冷却した後裁断して顆粒にした。
この顆粒をISO527/1A多目的試験片に準ずる試験バーに射出成形し、試験片の色を記録した。
試験片を、IPC/JEDE J−STD−020B、表5−2、Pbフリー組立体の方法に従い、SMTオーブン内で標準的なリフロー温度プロファイルに付した。試験プログラムに付した後、処理後の試験片の色および未処理の試験片の色を比較して結果を記録した。
実施例IIおよび比較試験A〜Eのポリアミド組成物を、難燃相乗剤および安定剤系を変化させたこととそれに応じてポリアミドの量を調節したこととを除いて実施例Iと同じ構成成分および同じ手順を用いて調製した。実施例IIおよび比較試験A〜Eのポリアミド組成物を試験片の調製に用い、実施例Iに関し上述したように調製および試験を行った。実施例IIおよび比較試験A〜Eの組成および試験結果を表1に列挙した。
実施例VI〜VIIおよび比較試験H〜KIのポリアミド組成物は、ポリアミド−Iの代わりにポリアミド−IIを用いたことと、難燃相乗剤および安定剤系を変化させたこととを除いて、実施例Iと同じ構成成分および同じ手順を用いて調製した。実施例VI〜VIIおよび比較試験H〜Kのポリアミド組成物を試験片の調製に用い、実施例Iに関し上述したように調製および試験を行った。実施例VI〜VIIおよび比較試験H〜Kの組成および試験結果を表2に列挙した。
Claims (8)
- 融解温度が280〜350℃の範囲にある熱可塑性ポリアミドと、ハロゲン系難燃化合物および亜鉛含有化合物含有難燃相乗剤を含む難燃剤系と、亜リン酸エステル安定剤とを含む難燃性ポリアミド組成物であって、アンチモン含有化合物を含まない、難燃性ポリアミド組成物。
- 前記亜リン酸エステル安定剤が、ジホスファイト化合物である、請求項1に記載の難燃性ポリアミド組成物。
- 前記ポリアミド組成物が、フェノール系安定剤を含む、請求項1または2に記載の難燃性ポリアミド組成物。
- 前記ハロゲン系難燃化合物が、臭素化合物である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリアミド組成物。
- 前記ポリアミド組成物が、他のポリマー化合物、強化繊維、フィラー、およびさらなる添加剤からなる群から選択される1種またはそれ以上の成分を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリアミド組成物。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のポリアミド組成物から作製された成形部品。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のポリアミド組成物を含む成形部品をSMTを用いて他の部品に実装するステップを含む、組立体の作製方法。
- 請求項7に記載の方法を用いて得ることができるSMT実装されたコネクタを含む組立体。
