Claims (14)
- 電源が充電または放電される電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を直接収容して密封されるケースとを備え、
前記ケースが第1カバーおよび第2カバーを備え、
前記第1カバーと前記第2カバーとの間に設けられる空間に前記電極組立体が収容され、
前記第1カバーと前記第2カバーとが異なる素材からなり、
前記第2カバーが前記第1カバーより高い圧力強度を有し、
電池の定格容量が4Ahから1000Ahの中型または大型規模であり、
前記第2カバーが前記第1カバーより厚く、
前記第1カバーと前記第2カバーの各々が互いに接着されて前記電極組立体の収容空間を密封する密封部を備え、
前記第1カバーと前記第2カバーとのうち、少なくともいずれか1つの対向面に前記電極組立体を収容する空間部を備え、
前記第1カバーは、
金属層と、
前記金属層の外側面に形成される外装層と、
前記金属層の内側面に形成される内装層とを備え、
前記第2カバーは、
金属層と、
前記金属層の外側面に形成される外装層と、
前記金属層の内側面に形成される内装層とを備え、
前記第1カバーの内装層の融点が前記第2カバーの内装層の融点より低く、
前記電極組立体を各々に収容する2つ以上の前記ケースを積層して形成される、二次電池。 - 前記第2カバーの金属層が前記第1カバーの金属層より厚い、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1カバーの金属層の厚さが40μmから50μm未満であり、前記第2カバーの金属層の厚さが100μmから250μmである、請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第2カバーは、前記外装層の外側面に形成される第2外装層をさらに備える、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1カバーの内装層の融点が80℃から120℃であり、前記第2カバーの内装層の融点が130℃から200℃である、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1カバーの内装層と前記第2カバーの内装層との接触部分が互いに熱融着されて前記電極組立体の収容空間を密封する密封部を備える、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1カバーの内装層がポリエチレンまたはポリエチレン重合体を含んでなる、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第2カバーの内装層がポリオレフィン系または無延伸ポリプロピレンまたはポリプロピレンを主成分として含む、請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 電源が充電または放電される電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を直接収容して密封されるケースとを備え、
前記ケースが第1カバーおよび第2カバーを備え、
前記第1カバーと前記第2カバーとの間に設けられる空間に前記電極組立体が収容され、
前記第1カバーと前記第2カバーとが互いに異なる素材からなり、
前記第1カバーの前記第2カバーとの接触面の融点が前記第2カバーの前記第1カバーとの接触面の融点より低い、二次電池。 - 電池の定格容量が4Ahから1000Ahの中型または大型規模である、請求項9に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1カバーの融点が80℃から120℃であり、前記第2カバーの融点が130℃から200℃である、請求項9または10に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1カバーの融点が90℃から110℃である、請求項11に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第2カバーが前記第1カバーより厚い、請求項9から12のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体を各々に収容する2つ以上の前記ケースを積層して形成される、請求項9から13のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
