Claims (1)
- アノード・カソードの対向空間に電界を形成してカソードから電子を放出させて蛍光体を励起発光させる冷陰極蛍光ランプと、上記冷陰極蛍光ランプのアノード・カソード間電圧を検出する電圧検出回路と、カソードからの電子放出量を示すエミッション電流を検出する電流検出回路と、上記電圧検出回路と上記電流検出回路とからの検出信号によりアノード・カソード間電圧とエミッション電流とを制御する電源制御回路とを備えた発光駆動方式において、
上記電源制御回路により、アノード・カソード間電圧とエミッション電流との関係を示すIV特性曲線が変化しても、エミッション電流が低下するとアノード・カソード間電圧が増加して輝度を一定とし、また、アノード・カソード間電圧が増加するとエミッション電流が減少してエミッタ劣化が抑制されるように、アノード・カソード間電圧とエミッション電流との積である電力がほぼ一定となるようアノード・カソード間電圧とエミッション電流とを制御することを特徴とする冷陰極蛍光ランプの発光駆動方式。
